Before installation:

• Let the engine cool completely.
• Disconnect the negative battery terminal.
• Verify the sender port uses 1/8-inch NPT threads.
• Use a compatible adapter when necessary.
• Connect the gauge to switched 12V power.
• Protect the power circuit with an appropriate fuse.
• Provide a clean electrical ground.
• Route wiring away from exhaust components.
• Keep wiring clear of belts, pulleys and cooling fans.
• Bleed trapped air from the cooling system.

• Test gauge operation before driving.
