The SYLVANIA H7 XtraVision provides a simple upgrade for compatible factory halogen lighting systems. Its engineered filament and gas mixture produce additional usable road illumination without converting the vehicle to LED or HID technology.

Retaining the correct H7 filament position is important because the bulb and headlight housing work together to control the beam. A compatible bulb installed in a clean, properly aimed housing generally provides better results than chasing suspiciously heroic lumen claims.

Replace H7 Bulbs in Pairs

Halogen bulbs lose output gradually as their filaments age. When one bulb fails, the bulb on the opposite side has usually experienced similar operating hours and heat cycles.

Pair replacement helps provide:

Confirm Vehicle Fitment

An H7 bulb does not provide both high and low beams from one bulb. It has a single filament and performs one lighting function at a time. A vehicle may use one H7 bulb for its low beam and another bulb—or another H7—for its high beam.

Before ordering, confirm:

• Vehicle year, make, model and trim
• Required bulb number
• Installation position
• Factory lighting technology
• Connector and base design
• Any position-specific fitment notes

Installation Tips

1. Switch off the lights and allow the old bulbs to cool.
2. Remove the headlight access cover or required trim.
3. Disconnect the electrical connector.
4. Release the retaining clip, collar or locking mechanism.
5. Remove the old bulb carefully.
6. Hold the new bulb only by its metal base.
7. Align the locating tab and secure the bulb.
8. Reconnect the wiring and reinstall the weather cover.
9. Test the lights and verify headlight aim.

Do not touch the glass capsule with bare fingers. Skin oils can create a hot spot and reduce bulb life. Clean accidental contact with isopropyl alcohol and a lint-free cloth before installation.
