Important 2007 Classic Fitment Note
General Motors sold two different truck body styles during the 2007 model year:
- 2007 Classic: Previous-generation GMT800 body
- 2007 new body: Redesigned GMT900 platform
These tow mirrors fit the advertised 2007 Classic applications only. They are not intended for the redesigned 2007 new-body Silverado or Sierra.
Check the VIN, body shape, existing mirror base, and vehicle build information before ordering. If the truck is listed online as “2007 Silverado” with no mention of Classic or new body, congratulations—the important half of the description has escaped.

The replacement mirrors should match the original factory functions. Installing them on a vehicle originally equipped with power, heated, or signal mirrors may eliminate those functions.

Manual Telescoping Design
Each mirror can be pulled outward manually when towing and returned to its normal position when the extra width is no longer needed.

Manual Folding

Durable Construction
SCITOO uses ABS housings, glass lenses, and broad triangular mounting bases designed to sit securely against the door. A stable mounting point helps reduce excessive vibration while driving.
Actual stability depends on correct installation. Loose fasteners, damaged door sheet metal, missing foam seals, or an uneven mounting surface can cause shaking even when the mirror assembly itself is intact.
Installation Overview
Installation generally requires removing the interior triangular trim panel and, on some vehicles, part of the door panel.
Basic Installation
- Lower the window and protect the painted door surface.
- Remove the interior mirror trim panel.
- Remove additional door trim if necessary.
- Support the original mirror from outside.
- Disconnect any factory wiring if present.
- Remove the mirror mounting nuts.
- Lift the original mirror away from the door.
- Compare the mounting base and gasket.
