Redline Tuning Hood Quicklift Systems are designed to clean up your engine bay by getting rid of the hood prop-rod. The clunky prop-rod is at all times in the way, but after putting off the prop rod and installing a Hood Quicklift System the engine bay is free from obstructions. All Quicklift Systems utilize progressive-rate gas springs to be able to lift and hold your hood open. Installation – The Hood Quicklift System includes all components needed for the installation. Some mounting hardware included in the system requires use of special multi-grip rivets (included) to attach ball stud brackets, drilling is required. A full-color installation manual is included to make installation quick and easy.

Gas Springs (Black) – The gas springs used in this application every have a black e-coated steel body with black annealed extending rod. The end-fittings used are designed specifically for this application.
