Installation Tips

1. Switch off the lights and allow the old bulb to cool.
2. Disconnect the battery if instructed by the vehicle manufacturer.
3. Remove the headlight access cover or surrounding components.
4. Disconnect the wiring plug from the bulb.
5. Release the retaining clip, collar or locking mechanism.
6. Remove the old bulb without damaging the connector.
7. Hold the replacement bulb by its metal base.
8. Install it in the correct orientation and secure the retainer.
9. Reconnect the plug and reinstall the weather cover.
10. Test the light and verify headlight aim.

Do not touch the glass capsule with bare fingers. Skin oils can create localized heat on the glass and shorten bulb life. If contact occurs, clean the capsule carefully with isopropyl alcohol and a lint-free cloth before installation.
