Yellow Nighttime Illumination

- Make sharp bends
- Twist it excessively
- Route it against exhaust components
Damaging the capillary tube will release its internal operating medium and permanently disable the gauge. There is no electrical repair for a cut mechanical temperature line—only a valuable lesson and another gauge purchase.

Do not attempt to pass the large sensing bulb through an undersized firewall opening by pulling on the capillary tube. Create or use a properly sized, protected opening.
