I used these for under glow lights on my truck and they worked well. There may be other lights that are brighter, but for me they were just enough without being too over powering – at night they do look good and can easily distinguish between each RGB color (personally I like the purple). But they were easy to install with PLENTY of length to connect to the battery or interior switch or however you need to install. I also used extension wired (purchased separately) so I could extend that last (fourth) light past the rear wheel to near the rear bumper. Each light disconnects from the other which is a nice feature if you have tight areas to mount these in and need to work with only one light at a time. The connections press into each other and make a good seal, but I also used dielectric grease & silicone tape on each connection to make sure they were water and weather proof, since I mounted them on the underside of my truck. The adhesive is good and will mount to a clean surface, plus there is a small hole in the middle so you can use a screw for additional security that they will remain in place. The lights themselves are 4 LEDs in a square pattern that are molded into it’s body and therefore waterproof.This also comes with a small hand-held remote; on/off, change colors, change to flashing or fade, or other action light activity with music.I have had these mounted and using them for 2 months and they have held up well with absolutely no issues.

Update: My lights are stuck in demo mode. After emailing Xprite, then they sent me a replacement remote control, but it turns out the remote wasn’t the problem. There must be something wrong with the receiver/controller. They offered to replace the light. I’ll update again after they arrive.These lights were SO easy to wire up that anyone could do it. The remote control works perfectly from farther away than I’d have thought, even w/out line of sight. The housings the lights are mounted in are well designed and I like them a lot. The wire and connectors are WAY WAY better made than I expected.I mounted mine on the inside of the security deck of my Jeep. I wired them so they come on with the dome light, but I can still turn them off with the remote, if I want. These jokers are freakin bright. You can see in the pics in broad daylight just how bright these go and that’s set to red. At night all white light will darn near blind you just coming out of the cracks/seams in the lid unless you turn them way down.The only gripe is the adhesive is TERRIBLE. I cleaned the surface meticulously and even used alcohol afterwards to makes sure the spots were as clean as possible. The glue still wouldn’t hold. I had to use black duct tape to keep them in place. This isn’t a big deal for my needs, but if this were going outside the Jeep (like in a fender well) they’d fall off and get wrapped around an axle in no time. So, if you plan to use them outside or underneath, plan to use the provided screws or zipties. Not a deal killer at all, since you’d have to be crazy to expect any glue to hold much better.

Do not buy. Control box can only be put on the outside of the vehicle which is a terrible design considering it is not waterproof and the sound sensor is inside the control box so it will detect no music unless you have a super quiet car and a very loud stereo.

Great addition to my truck for those late night work or adventures that may take place. The LEDs are bright and light up the truck very well for what I need to see in the pitch black night! Installation is easy and the wiring provided is great. I like the fact you can change whether you want to plug it into a 12v source and hard wire the lights to a switch if you choose. The plug for the 12v source has a switch too, for those who don’t want to hard wire a switch. I chose to wire in my own switch. I like the fact it’s RGB lighting with a remote to change the different color lighting if you want. Give a little light show for the kids. Lol

Installed this on my 2017 Cfmoto Zforce 800EX SxS as rocker lights. Had enough for every fender over the wheels, cab, and front suspension area. Surprisingly bright with multiple colours and mode options. I wouldn’t waste your money on much more expensive systems. EXTREMELY HAPPY with this product. Has held up for over a year.
