these are the best oil filters available IMHO. you can certainly get by with a standard duty oil filter (WIX) BUT you need to make sure you keep up your maintenance schedule. I don’t trust the robot reporting from the DIC. About 65% of what it says is what I go with and I don’t buy crappy oil or filters.With that said, there was a dent in this filter that should not be there. Better packaging is required.
