This VMS Racing Crank Pulley is perfect for your daily-driver street or strip car. The lighter weight will increase horsepower and torque by reducing the weight of the rotating assembly, WITHOUT the problems associated with underdrive pulleys! Underdrive pulleys create a MULTITUDE of problems, beginning with discharged batteries and overheating. By “underdriving” (making them rotate slower) the engine-driven accessories, you lose the capacity of the water pump and of the alternator to work at the levels the manufacturer intended them to work. This creates overheating and charging problems.

YOU WILL NOT HAVE THESE ISSUES WITH THIS PULLEY as this pulley is the SAME SIZE as the OEM pulley, so all the accessories move and operate EXACTLY LIKE the manufacturer intended them to. The other issue you will avoid is changing the size of the belts.
