Why Replacing the Full Fuel Pump Module Matters
Toyota fuel systems are extremely sensitive to pressure stability. Replacing only the pump motor while leaving a worn sending unit or clogged strainer behind is how drivability problems return quickly.
This VANBOL fuel pump assembly includes:
-
High-pressure electric fuel pump
-
Fuel level sending unit
-
Pre-filter strainer (sock)
-
Internal pressure regulation components
-
OE-style housing and electrical connectors
One install. One fix. No repeat failures.
Performance & Drivability Benefits
Even reliable Toyota engines suffer when fuel delivery weakens. A failing pump causes lean conditions, hesitation, rough idle, and poor throttle response—especially noticeable on 2.4L applications.
Replacing the fuel pump assembly:
-
Restores factory fuel pressure (PSI)
-
Improves cold starts and idle stability
-
Eliminates hesitation under load
-
Stabilizes injector operation
-
Fixes inaccurate or erratic fuel gauge readings
No performance hype here—just reliability restored.

Worked well in my 2012 Corolla. Be warned, on this car the retaining ring was quite hard to remove, even w the proper tool (get the round tool that grabs the entire ring) and big breaker bar. It finally did come off and the rest of the job went easy enough. Make sure you pop in the fuel sender which ships loose.

Lasted 10 months, fuel rail pressure is low causing long crank starts if it starts at all. Listing states “excellent customer service” and full 1 year warranty, but no way of contacting this vendor….no phone number, no email. Avoid this vendor!Update: After 2 attempts to get a message to this vendor, I did receive a reply and apology. The “contact seller” process was very cumbersome. By the time I heard back from vendor, Amazon had stepped in and issued a refund. But I thought I did owe it to this seller to update my review and mention they made the attempt to help me.

It fit exactly as the factory original. Fit into the fuel tank as it should. The electrical connection was a perfect fit. Both fuel hoses fit as they should. Easy install with the right tools. Will it last? Only time will tell… If it gives out, I will update this review, but it looks great so far.

It works on my 2007 toyota matrix and works significantly better than the original pump that was slowly dying. Start up and acceleration has definitely improved. I wish they provided a new gasket, but installation was really easy. It’s been working well for about a week now, but have no idea if it will hold up.
