Gave this 5-stars because it worked for 2007 Pontiac Vibe with Toyota 1.8L engine.I did have a slight fitment issue with one mounting point being ever so slightly off. I ended up using a smaller bolt and added a nut – double nut actually .Still running fine 2K miles and 3 months later.

It is brand new. Fits fine but it’s noisy and I snapped 1 of the small case bolts but probably over tightened. Makes 14.45 volts at idle so hopefully it last.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:I got a alternator from autozone and it was crap missing parts from factory and Terrible luckily I saw this and bought it for basically the cost of me turning in the old one and been super reliable for about 8 months with no issues yet

I installed it on my 2006 Corolla. Went in smooth and solved my problem. Hopefully it lasts. Had the battery light intermittently going off and on. Not enough voltage to the battery while running. New alternator fixed me up. I got the delivery the next day, but came later at night, but that was ok. Auto parts store charging twice as much, so the wait was worth it, just hope it last

Installed four months ago, was making winding noise when first installed, too much work to remove and send back, thinking it would eventually wear in and get quiet, nope still making annoying whining noise, hope the bearings don’t fail on me
