Install was easy. Been driving on them for about two weeks. My OEM shocks had about 225,000 miles on them and I can’t believe they were still riding so well. However, the difference with the RC Shocks on is night and day. The rear of my truck handles a lot better, I don’t feel any unnecessary stiffness, and the quality of the shock is very nice. I don’t do any off roading at all and spend majority of my time on highways, and the ride is much smoother.I’m assuming that those complaining about the bouncing actually installed the shocks upside down. They need to check to make sure they are on correct. I have actually seen several times where this is the case.

Very easy install, well made and at a fair price. I bought them for my 2018 Ford F150 and they fit as expected. I have only put 250 miles on them, so I can’t speak to the durability, but I would imagine they are comparable to OEM shocks. The ride is a little stiffer, but I don’t mind that. If you are wanting a car like ride, you probably should look elsewhere. If you don’t mind you truck riding like a truck, these are just fine.

Can you get better? Yes I think you can, fit three times the price. These ride great, but perfect, look good, and do it affordably. Rough country for the win.
Jeff Jordan –
Very good shocks and easy to install. I will buy again. Fit was perfect. No noise from the shocks or truck.
2012 F150 –
Ride quality is as good if not better than stock

I bought these because they were the same parts that the truck came with. Lasted 160,000 miles. Great price and quality part.

I installed these about 3-4 months ago and wanted to give them some time to give an honest review.Decided to give these a shot despite all of the mixed feelings toward rough country products, and imglad i did! They fit perfectly into place and so far seem very durable. In the time they have been on I have loaded multiple cubic yards of sand and fill dirt, as well as 800 pavers into my bed and these handled it all with no issue, and no leaking. They are on the stiffer side, so if you’re looking for a very smooth shock I would say shop around. For a solid replacement to your worn out stock or aftermarket shocks I would say give these a shot! Pair these with the boots that rough country also has for these shocks and you’ll have a very solid setup for the price.

Purchased for stock height f150. I have had for a couple months and they suck so bad. My clapped out OEM shocks rode better than these. They are so so so bouncy. I have had passengers even ask me if something’s wrong with my truck. They bounce so much it makes the rear unstable. Don’t waste your money, you will spend the dollars twice if you buy these.

Fit my 2014 F150 HD (7 lug Ford)
Fit my 2014 F150 HD (7 lug Ford)I was worried after reading what rear shocks to get for the 7 bolt HD F150. They fit perfectly and ride way better than my worn out factory shocks.Too bad there are no front shocks for my Ford other than factory replacement.
