This set of rear struts Arrived today at 11:30 AM and I was able to remove and replace my OEM Rear Struts today by myself. These struts perfectly match the OEM Struts they replaced. To look at the illustrations on Amazon and other vendors, it appeared that I received two of the same strut, not different parts for left and right. My guess is that vendors “Mirror” one strut to show the second strut because the Springs appear to be wound in different directions, so that’s what I expected. Well the springs are spriral in the same direction on both Struts, but I compared each strut to the ones I took off my CRV, doing the Left (Driver) side first, then the right side. These Struts do not come with any indication for Left side or Right side, but they installed and work great. The main thing is to install them the same as the OEM Struts were mounted – with the Bottom End of the spring towards the center of the car. After installation, I noted that the rear of my car rides a bit taller, but I’m sure that the new springs will settle in after a few weeks. I’m very happy with my new Rear Struts: No more “Bouncy-Bouncy” over speed bumps and the car just does a little squat – rise – and the settles right down, Just like a car should do. I also noticed my car rides a lot quieter now. The old Struts were caked with oil and road debris and had no damping effect at all. The rear end didn’t track well over bumpy roads and was very noisy. With these new Struts, It’s like an entirely different car now and it’s actually fun to drive again. My 2011 CRV has just reached 160,000 miles and now it’s driving like new, Suspension, steering and handling are tight again. These new Rear Struts, along with new rear sway bar links and sway bar bushings, have completely restrored my ride quality, and I was able to complete it by myself in just a few hours and for under $200.
