Product description

Why Alternator Health Matters
Once the engine is running, the alternator powers:
-
Ignition and engine management
-
Fuel injection and sensors
-
Headlights and exterior lighting
-
Climate control and interior electronics
-
Charging and maintaining the battery

When alternator output drops, the battery gets overworked trying to compensate. That leads to:
-
Premature battery failure
-
Flickering lights
-
Electrical warning lights
-
No-start situations
Replacing the alternator restores stability to the entire charging system and prevents ongoing battery damage.

Correct Output for the Sentra Platform
The 1.8L Sentra charging system was designed around an 80-amp alternator, which provides:
-
Stable voltage at idle and cruising speeds
-
Proper battery recovery after starts
-
Balanced electrical load handling
This output is ideal for stock vehicles and daily drivers running factory accessories.

Built for OE Fitment and Reliability
This alternator features:
-
Efficient copper windings
-
Internal voltage regulator for consistent output
-
Precision-balanced internals
-
OE-style mounting points and electrical connectors
Installation is straightforward — bolt it in, connect it, and drive without watching the battery light like a hawk.

Although we have a brand new vehicle we needed a 2nd car for my other half to use for work so we bought a 2003 Nissan Sentra with under 120k miles. Used vehicles in the south typically tend to be in better shape due to no winter weather salt damage etc. But as with any used vehicle at times things will go wrong and for ours the alternator started going out. I looked at every local parts stores and their prices for low quality alternators were from $174 to $375 and would take several days to get. I’m so glad I looked on amazon and found this one. Not only was it an amazing price it was actually of better quality than the ones in stores and we had it within 2 days. Installed it and not only is the car fixed and running perfectly the belt squealing has also stopped which we’ve tried to fix that before with no luck. I would absolutely recommend this product from this seller 1000% times over.

I contacted them about an issue I was having since installing this “new” alternator. I figured it would eventually go away but it hasn’t. I have replaced everything around that part and it’s still making a whining noise that will not go away, I repeatedly explained this to them. They asked for the old part # I gave them that, then they said no not their part #, they needed the OEM # I gave them that, then was told that basically the OEM # wasn’t on their list and wasn’t compatible with my vehicle. The OEM # ISN’T GOING TO BE ON THE LIST BECAUSE IT IS DISCONTINUED!! That’s why I sent them the replacement numbers. It’s a 2006 Nissan Sentra of course it’s going to be discontinued because it’s an older car. I had already gave them the previous part number before that, and they asked for the OEM for what reason? The part is on my vehicle and it runs but it has a terrible noise and doesn’t look right! One side has extra pieces of metal inside that look strange and don’t belong there. I sent them pictures of the part like they had asked and got nowhere. They don’t honor their warranty or even try to fix the problem. I will no longer buy from this “Company”. They are very untrustworthy and try to confuse you on purpose, its just BAD BUSINESS PRACTICE. I don’t have the finances to take it to a place and have someone else fix it for me, I do everything myself with my husband who is a mechanic. So there’s that also and he knows for sure that the noise is an issue with their part. They obviously don’t want to take accountability for the lack of quality involving their part that was sold.
