I bought this alternator for my 2010 Acura TSX about two weeks ago, and so far, everything is running smoothly. The installation was straightforward, and the part fit perfectly without any issues. Since replacing my old alternator, the car has been charging consistently, no warning lights, and the battery is holding up great. It’s been handling daily driving without a problem, and I’ve noticed a steady, reliable performance from the electrical system. Overall, I’m very satisfied with this purchase—good value, works as expected, and gave my TSX the fresh power it needed.Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a solid replacement alternator.

After building out my 2007 Sprinter with 540 amp hour lithium batteries and DC to DC charging when the van is running I noticed the battery voltage coming down from 13.7 to 13 and then 12.7 at times over the last 3 years. I figured the OEM alternator was getting tired. While originally intending to upgrade to a higher output alternator instead of the 180 amp I had a bit of sticker shock seeing $500.00 to $1800.00 for options all the way to 270 amps. This 180 amp alternator didn’t have any reviews, but somebody has to be first so I ordered it and had it changed out in about an hour taking my time. Fit and finish looks like OEM quality, has the right pully with 7 grooves, the connector and positive bolt stud are the correct size and most importantly, it fit perfectly, not too much messing around trying to get the 4 bolts started. I used a drill bit to secure the tensioner, however it’s still a pretty tight fit with the tensioner and had to apply a little more pressure to it to get the belt seated properly. After install I ran it for a few minutes to make sure the belt was going to stay put and then took a short drive-everything worked as it should. The following day I drove 400 miles without an issue.

Product work good the mounting area was a little bit thicker than should’ve been so I had to grind it off.

The alternator is not to hard to install for a seasoned shade tree mechanic. You will need a 10, 12, and 14mm socket. Don’t use a deep socket to remove the lower bolt of the alternator or you will get pinned against the wheel well. The belt tensioner has two idler pulleys. You will need a pipe extension over your ratchet on the upper idler to loosen and re-install the belt. I used a two inch aluminum pipe. The handle of a heavy duty jack will work too.I had trouble removing the electrical plug on the back of the alternator. Good luck 🍀

So much cheaper than the parts store and does the same thing with the same warranty, excellent

Went out after 3 months and now I can’t return the POS. The phone number for manufacturer doesn’t work. Don’t cheap out on an alternator unless you want to keep spending money in the long run. Pay the full price for a good one from an auto parts store and make sure it has a warranty.
