Ensure that the installation conditions of the original equipment are fully matched. There is a bolt protection bushing at the bracket installation position. The bushing of some models may be 0.05-0.10mm higher. It is not incompatible and can be adjusted appropriately

While the installation difficulty has nothing to do with this product, it is more difficult than most alternator replacements

Puts out only 13v, not typical for alternators. Most replace alternators when voltage less than 14.2v.In the Altima, that would require removing the tire, inner tire well, battery and battery box, drain radiator, remove radiator hose, remove serpentine belt, remove radiator fans. Lots of work on poorly functioning alternator.
