What Makes the MUCO E8023 Different
Unlike basic replacement pumps that barely meet factory minimums, the MUCO E8023 is engineered for higher output and durability, ensuring your engine gets steady fuel delivery under load.
Key Features:
-
High-performance electric in-tank fuel pump
-
Increased flow capacity vs worn OEM pumps
-
Stable fuel pressure across RPM range
-
Designed for EFI gasoline applications
-
Includes installation kit (strainer, hardware, and wiring components)
-
Direct replacement for E8023-style fuel pumps
This makes it a solid choice whether you’re restoring drivability or future-proofing your fuel system for light mods.

Performance & Drivability Benefits
Fuel delivery consistency is critical for injector performance and combustion efficiency. A weak or aging pump causes lean conditions, hesitation, and power loss—especially under throttle.
Installing the MUCO E8023 helps:
-
Restore proper fuel pressure (PSI)
-
Improve throttle response
-
Reduce hesitation and misfires
-
Support mild performance upgrades
-
Prevent fuel starvation under load
It’s not a race-only pump—it’s a reliability upgrade that protects performance.
Safety & Reliability You Can’t Ignore
Fuel pumps operate submerged in gasoline for cooling and lubrication. As factory pumps age, they draw more current, overheat, and stress wiring. This increases the risk of electrical failure and fuel vapor issues.
The MUCO E8023 is designed with:
-
Efficient motor design to reduce heat buildup
-
OE-style electrical connections
-
Included strainer to protect the pump from debris
Pro Tip: Always replace the fuel filter after installing a new pump and avoid running your tank below ¼ full—fuel is the pump’s coolant.

For 1985 Toyota 4WD P/U. My second pump. Eight months ago, I bought this pump on amazon. It worked great and the filter screen was a perfect fit as the bottom of the pump where the filter attached was directly to the center of the pump.8 months later, the pump failed. It turned out that the positive stud on the pump broke off, quality issue, over torqued, don’t know. I do know that I contacted the company, and they sent a brand new one under warranty, received within a week!!! That is support of product and great customer service! The new one has the offset filter screen issue. I used a dremel to modify it into fitment. This filter is not going anywhere.

Works really good solves my issue running rich. Not bad for the price it’s the same as the original one from factory. It don’t have the terminal plastic clip but it’s ok, still works.

I can’t give a complete review honestly because the vehicle is still not running so maybe later. But I do know that the strainer was not compatible for my 91 Infiniti G20 nor were the snap-in or plug in connections and not sure of the fuel pressure as yet

Works fine. We will see how long it lasts.
john emanuel –
only the strainer hard to fit in place but with force got it in.

Do not buy! Fuel pump died within 3 months and rusted out. Seller stated in the description that there is a 1 year warranty but there is no way to contact them to have them honor the warranty. The aggravation of taking this cheap pump out of the fuel tank is not worth the price.

The pump is a direct replacement for a 1993 Nissan Sentra, but the filter isn’t compatible. If you have a Sentra you’ll need to clean and re-use your old filter.

Worked for Lexus 1998 LS400. Orginal Denso went out after 140,000 miles. Hard to find Denso part. Hope this lasts.
