🎶 More Character Where It Counts
Induction noise? Absolutely.
Turbo flutter? Oh yes.
A small bump in power? Naturally.
Your GTI finally sounds like it stopped filing taxes and started filing complaints with the EPA.
🔥 Cooler Intake Temps
Pulling air from outside the engine bay reduces heat soak and gives the ECU more consistent airflow data. That means stronger performance on back-to-back pulls.

I installed the Aosuracing cold-air intake on my 2010 Golf MK6 with the 1.4 TSI EA111 engine in under an hour, and it immediately sharpened throttle response. The smooth-mandrel aluminum tube and reinforced silicone couplers lined up perfectly with the factory mounts—no trimming or check-engine lights. Why I’m sold on it:• Cooler Air, Better Boost: The intake’s heat shield blocks engine heat so the turbo pulls denser air. Off-the-line acceleration feels crisper, and mid-range pull is noticeably stronger.• Subtle Induction Note: Under throttle, there’s a faint turbo “whoosh” echo—enough to feel sporty without drone inside the cabin.• Bulletproof Fit & Finish: The matte-black powder coat on the heat shield and the polished tube have resisted road grime with no chipping or corrosion.• Easy Maintenance: The washable, oiled cotton filter pops off in seconds for a quick clean, and it still looks sharp after a few dusty back-road drives. If you drive a VW Beetle, Golf MK5/MK6, or Scirocco MK3 with the 1.4 TSI EA111 engine and want a budget-friendly way to boost turbo spool and adds a dash of induction sound, this Aosuracing kit delivers exactly what it promises—no fuss, just better drive feel.

While it was odd that this didn’t come with instructions, it was easy enough to figure out where everything was supposed to fit in the engine bay. The powder coated parts appeared to be high quality and I didn’t have any issues with them fitting poorly during install. For the money, this is a great first intake and provides a very good sound considering. Throttle response isn’t really changed as far as I can tell, but the butt dyno and time will tell.
