Megan Racing performance lowering springs are constructed of SAE 9254 cold wounded steel, one of the strongest materials available.
Engineered for the Hyundai Veloster Turbo Platform
Megan Racing built the MR-LS-HYV11T lowering springs to directly fit the Veloster Turbo’s suspension geometry. With an optimized drop, these coilover-style springs reduce your center of gravity, enhance cornering grip, and eliminate that unsightly wheel gap—without sacrificing ride comfort or daily drivability.
Whether you’re carving through backroads or just want a sportier stance for your daily commute, these springs deliver performance that feels factory-refined but enthusiast-tuned.
The high tensile strength and phosphate powder coating delivers outstanding spring rates that are extremely durable and resist premature “sagging”. the result is a spring that specifically offers racecar handling, yet maintains smooth and comfortable ride characteristics.
Durability Meets Design
Manufactured from SAE 9254 cold-wound steel, Megan Racing ensures every spring can handle aggressive driving and long-term wear. The powder-coated orange finish adds a vibrant touch while protecting against corrosion, so your suspension not only performs— it looks good doing it.
With consistent spring rates and precision engineering, the MR-LS-HYV11T ensures reliable performance, reduced body roll, and sharper steering response.
Carefully matched springs rates provide exceptional handling, response, control and balance.
Direct Fit, Easy Installation
The Megan Racing MR-LS-HYV11T Coilover Lowering Spring Kit is a direct-fit replacement for your factory suspension—no cutting, welding, or complicated adjustments required. These are designed to integrate seamlessly with OEM or performance shocks, making installation straightforward for both DIY enthusiasts and professional shops.
These springs offer a generous drop to your car while remaining very “street able” by having enough clearance to avoid bottoming-out; and the lowered center of Gravity improves performance and increases stability, as well as enhancing the appearance of the vehicle. (Note: spring rates and drop amount vary by different vehicle application and chassis load.).

Arrived as described and I look forward to the improved ride!2 month update: the drop on my 2016 turbo veloster was about 2.5″ in the rear and about 2″ in the front. Way more than advertised. Looks good though, all fender gap is gone on stock wheels and tires. The ride quality is close to stock other than going over hard bumps, you will feel it. Car is much more tight in corners and way less body roll when cornering hard. Install took 3.5 hours for the fronts (I haven’t done springs since 2005 and I have all hand tools) and no more than 45 minutes for the rears. If I had a screw gun, and a friend to help, that time would be cut in half. Super worth the purchase!
