🔧 Why the T7 Racing Kit Actually Converts Buyers

This isn’t preset “hope it works” suspension. This is adjustable where it matters.

Performance Features That Sell:

  • 24-level damping adjustment (compression & rebound combined)

  • Height-adjustable coilover suspension

  • T7 racing damper upgrade for faster response

  • Matched spring rates for SN95/New Edge chassis balance

  • Black anodized threaded bodies

  • Complete front & rear coilover assemblies

  • Direct bolt-on installation

👉 Translation: you tune the suspension to your roads, your driving style, and your patience level.

📉 Lowering a 94–04 Mustang (Smart, Not Slammed)

Yes, this kit can go low. That doesn’t mean it should.

Recommended ride heights:

  • 1.0–1.5 inches → ideal daily + spirited street setup

  • 1.5–2.0 inches → aggressive street stance (alignment required)

Drop past that and you’ll introduce:

  • Reduced suspension travel

  • Bump steer

  • Harsh bottoming on real roads

The T7 kit allows height adjustment without killing damper effectiveness, which is why it actually drives well when lowered.

🛣️ Ride Quality: 24 Clicks > One Guess

The 24-way damping adjustment is the real upgrade here.

  • Softer settings → daily comfort, potholes tolerated

  • Mid-range → balanced street performance

  • Firmer settings → sharper response, reduced body roll

Compared to worn OEM suspension:

  • Less float at speed

  • Better bump control

  • Improved braking stability

  • More mid-corner confidence

Firm when you want it. Civil when you need it. Actual control.

🎯 Handling Improvements You’ll Feel Immediately

Once installed and aligned:

  • Sharper turn-in

  • Reduced nose dive under braking

  • More predictable steering feedback

  • Increased grip and driver confidence

No, it won’t turn your Mustang into a GT4 car.
Yes, it will finally feel planted instead of vague.

Product description

📐 Alignment (Mandatory, Not Optional)

Lowering a 94–04 Mustang always affects alignment.

Strongly recommended:

  • Alignment at final ride height

  • Caster/camber plates

  • Toe kept close to factory specs for street use

Bad alignment kills tires—not coilovers.

🛠️ Build Quality & Ownership Notes

  • Black anodized corrosion-resistant finish

  • Performance-focused T7 dampers

  • Threaded bodies for precise height tuning

  • Designed for long-term street & performance use

Install tip: Anti-seize the threads. Adjustable suspension that seizes later is just expensive garage décor.

I am really happy with these. Ride is a bit stiff but car handles really well. The price vs other coil over kits is just not comparable. I would have never gotten coilovers if these werent available. Dropped the vehicle roughly 1.5″. Looks great.Edit about a month later: If you put these on and are running factory front end equipment, go ahead and change the front lower ball joints (or just get new control arms with ball joints), sway bar bushings, front sway bar links. My car none of them looked horrible when I initially installed these but the change in stance made ball joints totally crap out. I assume they were just used to being in one standard position and when that change they wet the bed. None of it is hard to change.
