Product description
📉 Lowering an S550 (Do This the Smart Way)
Yes, this kit can go low—but the S550 works best when geometry stays intact.
Recommended ride heights
-
1.0–1.5 inches → ideal daily + spirited street setup
-
1.5–2.0 inches → aggressive stance (alignment required)
Go lower than that and you’ll invite reduced suspension travel, bump steer, and scraping you didn’t budget for. The T6 design lets you lower without killing damper effectiveness, which cheap kits can’t do.

🛣️ Ride Quality: 24 Clicks of Real Control
The 24-way damping adjustment is the real upgrade here.
-
Softer clicks → daily comfort, rough roads tolerated
-
Mid-range → balanced street performance
-
Firmer clicks → sharper response, reduced body roll
Compared to stock:
-
Less float at highway speeds
-
Better bump control
-
More confidence under braking and cornering
Firm when you want it. Civil when you need it. Radical concept.

Mitchell Binggeli –
Leak, no rebound control ,adjustments do not work with the dampener
Kalen McBride –
Only needed the fronts after shearing the top nut on one of my rev9 coilovers. I had been trying to diagnose a clunk I’ve been battling since the first month I installed them. So glad I got these. Quality blows the rev9 set out of the water, super beefy, makes the rev9s look like junk. Finishes is nice too, And what’s crazy is these were over $100 cheaper than the rev9 set with the camber adjustment. Oh, and the clunk is gone!
Mr. Disappointment –
Fit and work as they said they would!👍🏽
Armando Gonzalez –
After the installation of the coilovers the car makes popping noises when turning and extremely bouncing even after adjusting the shocks, horrible quality parts
Jamie Blanchard –
Got them, installed and they seem just like the bc racing ones I had. No issues, ride perfect. Have it set to 16 on the front 18 rear and the car handles as it should. Not bouncy at all like someone else suggests and if there’s any clunking when turning, you would want to grease/wd40 the pivot bearing at the top as instructed..
