I wouldn’t recommend it at all so first of all the heavy plastic smell last us at least 3 to 5 days for you to get used to that plastic smell and like any other filters that have activated charcoal that filter smells and other things from the outside this one does not I’ve noticed all the smells from the outside when I change to this I’ve always used the activated charcoal and even though they’re $20, I think I prefer to go back to those and change it every six months because this one doesn’t filter anything besides like the very little dust that comes in But you can’t compare to those charcoal activated
