Trouble Free Passing
The front bumper lip makes your car look lower to the ground since it takes up the space below your car’s frame, creating the illusion the frame is closer to the ground. But actually it will not affecting road passing.

Enhance Downforce Effect
Bumper lip is designed to split the air and redirect the wind.
Having a bumper lip on your front bumper helps to enhance your vehicle’s aerodynamics for more stable handling. To some extent, this can also help with fuel economy by decreasing drag.

Protect Front Bumper
A front bumper lip will help protect your car bumper from scrape or damage when you are on a parking lot, going through a speed bump or pulling over.
However, the level of protection depends on the lip material. Our high-strength and durable front bumper lip offer better protection for your car.

Despite My scion xb, having a bit of dents, in the front, not from an accident but from years and years of being “lovetapped” or minor dings, the second i replaced my front bumper lip, the car started getting neck breakers (people who stare because they like). And its funny to see that. It is moderately easy to try and install on your own. If u are not handy with tools, its okay, all you need is a screwdriver and possibly a jack, to raise the car a little.

Fit good but not perfect like the original lip and you have to make your own holes so be carful but when you finally get it on honestly the car looks so much better! You’ll be happy.

I have been in Auto Body repair for going on 40 years. So I don’t get “gaga” for these parts and write a review according to how exciting it is to have it.This is one of the worse aftermarket pieces I have ever seen. The edges along the wheel opening are distorted outwards. Some heat could fix that. The same edges are way too wide. Some trimming would be needed.Force is needed to get one end to fit to the bumper cover. There are NO tabs to fit in the slots and hold the grille and part of the bumper cover. There are tabs. but they are not shaped to lock the two parts together. NO good! Then move to the other half and you can see how out of shape this is made. The end hangs so far away from the bumper that a lot of force is needed to get them close together. Once this is done, this part wants to spread out causing the bumper to distort. Heat is NOT going to help this as when the end is forced up to the bumper, excess material at the bottom causes a buckle. It would need to be pie-sliced and put back together. This part is too fat in the grille area. The two ends that snap into place will not snap in because this lower bumper lip interferes with them. Might be why the one reviewer that put a picture up did not have a lower grille. And this lower spoiler does not have the tabs to hold the lower part of the grille or the part of the bumper at the grille ends, causing the two not to be able to pull together. Some things I can work with. This is one of those things that I would not waste my time with.
