I didnt want to put a lot of money into an alternator since I dont plan on keeping my car much longer. For less than $100, this has been working great so far. I’ve only had it installed for a little over a month, but so far so good. I’ve had other remanufactured alternator fail right away or make sounds. This one has been quiet so far and sounds and works like the OEM model. Again time will tell but so far its been great.

Well, it works. That was the most critical part for me. However… I was ever so careful to make sure it was in good condition upon arrival. I was impressed. I was so very ginger installing it. It needed a washer in order to fit flush in the vehicle. I was careful not to over tighten the bolt for the wiring. I was just trying to put the rubber boot over the wiring connection… The plastic surround broke. It broke from the 2 pounds of pressure it takes to slip the boot over the wires. Frustrating as can be. Well, I guess the darned thing was packed really well on the way here to survive the trip. I plan to keep it because it is actually still working. We will see if the rest of it holds up better than the plastic. 2 POUND OF PRESSURE? Wow.
