Grabbed this FRAM filter for my Silverado and it works prety well. Install was easy — took maybe five minutes — just pop the old one out and slide this in. The engine does seem to run a bit smoother, altho not a huge diffrence.For the price, it’s a solid deal. After a couple weeks of mixed driving, the filter still looks fairly clean. I like that it’s rated for around 12k miles, but I’ll probly check it sooner just to be safe.Only downside is it doesn’t feel quite as sturdy as some other filters I’ve used, but it still gets the job done. Overall, a good, budget-friendly option if you’re not expecting anything fancy.
