What the Delphi FG1057 Replaces (and Why Full Modules Matter)
Modern fuel systems rely on an integrated fuel pump module, not just the pump itself. The Delphi FG1057 replaces the entire assembly, including:
-
High-pressure electric fuel pump
-
Fuel level sending unit
-
Strainer (pre-filter)
-
Internal pressure regulation components
-
OE-style electrical connectors and housing
Replacing only the pump motor often leads to repeat failures caused by worn sending units, clogged strainers, or weak internal regulators. This module solves all of it at once.

Performance, Reliability & Drivability Benefits
Delphi fuel modules are engineered to maintain factory-correct fuel pressure (PSI) and stable flow volume, which is critical for injector atomization and proper air-fuel ratios.
Benefits of installing the FG1057:
-
Restores consistent fuel pressure
-
Improves cold starts and throttle response
-
Eliminates hesitation and lean conditions
-
Ensures accurate fuel gauge operation
-
Protects injectors and engine longevity
This isn’t a performance pump—but without correct fuel delivery, performance doesn’t exist. Reliability is performance.

Safety & Engineering You Can Trust
Fuel pumps operate submerged in gasoline for cooling. As pumps age, they draw more current, generate excess heat, and stress wiring—raising the risk of electrical failure or vapor issues.
The Delphi FG1057 is built with:
-
OE-quality materials and motor design
-
Precision-tested electrical components
-
Proper sealing to prevent vapor leaks
-
Factory-style fitment and connectors
Best practice: Always replace the fuel filter after installation and avoid running the tank below ¼ full to extend pump life.
Fuel Module Assembly. Delphi brings 80 + years of OE Heritage into each Delphi assembly, ensuring quality and fitment for each Delphi part.
Installation Notes
-
Direct-fit, vehicle-specific design
-
No splicing or modification required
-
Installs using factory mounting points
-
Professional installation recommended if tank removal is required
This is how fuel system repairs should be done—once, correctly.

GET THIS ONE! I bought this for my 2011 gmc sierra 1500. It fits well. It is a big job to change the fuel pump. Get a really high quality unit like this one. It looks more rugged than the original. It was easy to install, once everything was already removed and cleaned up. It has been functioning well for almost 2 years.

both fuel connections and both electrical connections were correct 2011 gmc 1500

So far so good on my ’10 Silverado 5.3.

Perfect fit,no lock ring with pump, but worth the money. You don’t want to do this job twice.

Nice fit work’s fine

O.E.M. Fit. Works as original equipment

Fuel pump was a great price compared to what was available locally. It was not an easy install. Requires dropping fuel tank or removing truck bed. We went with removing the bed. Requires fuel line disconnect tools. Once bed was removed and lines disconnected, install was a breeze. It’s getting to that point that was difficult. Old pump broke during removal, but was probably still good. Fuel Pressure Control Module was bad (which requires programming).

It works on the 5.3. great fuel pump
Like many others, my original rotted out. It was actually spraying gas through a pinhole leak. This new one fits my 2011 5.3 aluminum block perfectly even though Amazon said it did not.According to Delphi site it also fits the cast iron 5.3 without issue.I’m putting this here because I had to do quite a bit of research to confirm what my gut told me that this would fit my truck.

Silverado 2009 1500 crew cab flex fuel
Fit perfect for 2009 1500 silverado crew cab with 5.5 ft box.Swapped the fuel pressure sensor with my old one as I read the reviews and that tends to be an issue. Got it back together no problem. Been running for weeks as my daily driver since, no issues, no codes, no problems
