DC Sports was founded by Darrell and Darrick Contreras as a high-quality designer and manufacturer of performance products to address the developing Sport Compact Market. In 1987, American Honda commissioned DC Sports to develop a header for their SCCA prepped CRX’s and the result cumulated was our first 4 into 1 header design. It was so well received that Honda requested headers for other applications. That system is the one that started it all (HHC5002).

The Sport Compact Market was primarily based on popular Japanese small cars that were great cars to begin with, but also excellent platforms for various tuning modifications. Throughout the 1990s, DC Sports was synonymous with Honda and Acura performance and in the early 2000’s started expanding into other sport compact platforms. DC Sports developed unique designs that performed better and therefore became the brand of choice for serious enthusiasts. DC Sports offers products for most popular sport compact vehicles.
Our headers and intakes are available as CARB approved-50 states legal or race only- off road use versions. Headers are manufactured with polished T304SS stainless and/or T409SS ceramic coated for protection and finish. Intake kits come with a high flow open element filter complete with all necessary hardware for a hassle-free installation.

Packaging was a little weak, the outer mounting ears were damaged on arrival and needed to be straightened. Extremely sturdy, not just a show piece. Will not slip over the mounting studs, one strut will need to be lowered flush with the tower, then seated through the bar. That’s a good thing in my eyes.

Very dissapponted. If you are going to advertise that it fits a specific car and model, make sure it fits!!! Tried to reach out to DC sports customer service and they never responded. Called and left a voicemail and never got a call back. I’ve ordered many things from DC sports and never had a problem. This experience kinda ruined it for me and I’ll probably never order anything again from DC sports. They didn’t even try to make an effort to help out. Thankfully Amazon was able to help me return the item and get a refund.

Definitely looks way better than my stock black strut bar! You are going to have to jack up the front end up your car and put it on jacks, then you’ll have to remove both front tires in order to remove the old stock strut bar ( if your car doesn’t have a stock strut bar, you can disregard jacking up your car). The driver side mounting requires a little alteration of moving your power steering flexible line and your throttle cable, but isn’t too much work and definitely makes for a better cleaner fit overall. If you have t least a little mechanical aptitude you can get this installed in probably around an hour and is worth it! FYI – the same brand rear strut bar can be installed in like 10 mins, super easy!

Fits perfectly and was very easy to install. I love the look of it. Feels great driving. I highly recommend this to any Honda Acura enthusiast. You might need to move the wire harness connectors down a little on the passenger side strut tower.

Really good. Replaced for my oem strut bar on my gsr. Couldn’t use my dampeners on my coils with oem. This solved the problem. Is much heavier and more sturdy. Would recommend this product. Instructions were clear.
