💎 Real Carbon Fiber Construction – Lightweight Strength and Exotic Style
Constructed from 100% genuine carbon fiber, this steering wheel delivers unmatched strength-to-weight performance and timeless style. The hand-laid carbon weave is sealed with a high-gloss UV-resistant finish that resists fading, cracking, and discoloration — even after years of use.
The carbon fiber mustang steering wheel aesthetic is replaced here with the Corvette’s distinctive shape — aggressive yet elegant — perfectly matching the C5’s interior. Every wheel is crafted to OEM fitment standards, ensuring a perfect alignment with your stock hub, airbag, and controls.
This isn’t imitation carbon or hydro-dipped plastic — this is the real deal, designed for drivers who demand authentic performance.

Looks and feels great! Very good quality, especially for the price, but quality part wheel not even taking the price into account. One review of this product almost caused me not to buy it, but I decided to give it a shot since it is returnable. One review says that the central hub of this wheel is plastic…this is not true, the frame of the wheel is entirely cast metal, it is NOT PLASTIC. I assume its aluminum.I think the poster may have been trying to draw attention to the fact that the stock wheel, which is also cast metal, has what appears to have a steel insert pressed in where the wheel meets the steering spline shaft. This wheel does not have this insert, the keyed splines are an integral part of the likely aluminum wheel. So those splines are likely not as hard as the stock ones, and there is a risk of fusion between the steel steering shaft and the aluminum wheel. meaning if it is installed for a long time, it may not be coming back off without cutting it. I’m not sure if it would help, but maybe a little anti-sieze on the splines might help just in case it ever needs to be removed in the future.Other things to note that I wasn’t aware of, it does not have all of the hardware included, some parts must be transferred from your stock wheel once removed. The brackets for the shoulder bolts that attach the airbag must be transferred from the original wheel. There are also 4 rubber bumpers that sit between the wheel and the airbag that must be transferred. All of this is very easy to do. You will also need to remove the plastic rear shroud that goes behind the wheel and airbag assembly from the stock wheel and transfer it over. Make sure not to discard any fasteners or other parts when removing the stock wheel, you will need to reuse them. The wheel also came with an interior trim pry tool which I didn’t need for the swap at all but those come in handy otherwise. It also came with a pretty nice microfiber cleaning cloth which I plan to fold up and keep in my car for occasional cleaning. The wheel came well packaged and in perfect condition, the original packaging is suitable for storing your stock wheel after the swap if you want to keep it.What is not easy as you will know if you’ve researched at all, is removing the stock wheel. It is often very hard to remove. Mine has actually been off the car a few times due to some other repair work and even so it was so difficult to remove I had to take it to a shop to have them swap the wheels for me. This is after the stock wheel broke the removal tool and the replacement pullers I machined out of some carriage bolts. If you are attempting to take this on yourself, make sure you have a high quality steering wheel puller or it’s probably going to break. Also try some penetrating oil on the splines to aid in removal. Youtube how to swap the wheel or have a shop do it for you! be careful with things like the red wire (part of the horn circuit I think) it is dead simple to unplug and reattach, just twist it a little and pull it straight out gently. Know what you’re doing so you don’t break it or anything else. Also it should be obvious but you need to remove and reinstall the airbag during the swap, so make sure you know how to do this safely, disconnect the battery before you touch anything. leave it to sit for several minutes or half an hour to allow the backup capacitors to completely discharge etc. Be careful unplugging the airbag module’s connector, its simple but you can break if you do it wrong. pop off the connector lock then pull it straight up…just google it!The spline shaft is keyed to prevent the wheel from being installed in the wrong orientation. but the spline are very fine so the keys are a little hard to see, just look carefully and make sure you install it correctly. There is a small tick on the shaft that lines up with an arrow on the wheel to make it easier. The frame of this wheel appears to be identical as far as I can tell to the stock one except for the central hub which is integrated rather than an insert as mentioned earlier. The structure, the ribs etc appear to be absolutely identical which is good! (other than of course, the outer wheel which is flat bottom and flat top on this unlike the stock wheel…but that’s kind of the point isn’t it?)Just for style, I wish this could be available with black stitching instead of contrasting red, and I wish it didn’t have the red center stripe, I even wouldn’t mind if it had the center stripe but if it was black like the rest of the wheel so the indication would be just the seams. but these are minor and my Corvette is torch red so the red accents don’t look terrible even though there is no other red anywhere on my interior.I have to assume it is not genuine leather at this price point, but the quality of the material seems to be right on par with the stock wheel. it looks great, it has a great feel to it. the materials seem high quality. I can’t speak for long term durability but initial impression this product is fantastic! And its worth repeating because it almost made me not buy this product which I am ultimately happy with, the hub of this wheel is ABSOLUTELY NOT PLASTIC.

Not to hard to install after watching a few YouTube vids, was able to get a steering wheel puller from Auto Zone with no cost. Love the look and feel of this steering wheel and it works as expected. Great buy !!!

This is absolutely the one to get especially before tariffs hit.Excellent quality. Driving becomes transformative. I knew I did not want one of those phony slick and slippery carbon fiber ones which would stink if you did track days.It is thicker than stock and has a terrific leather like grip. Install same as all of them straightforward and fairly easy. Couple of tips.Like all the aftermarket wheel the hub is plastic albeit thick and robust but I hesitated to crank the clinch not down beyond spec of 30ft lbs or less. I pulled the oem wheel with a 2 prong puller not the std 3. No problem though as with most a good size pop when it freed. Lastly the air bag cover can be the only real pain but done that in the past. The torque screws are very recessed. A magnet wand may help in and out. I use a sliver of painters tape on the bit end especially on install to hold the bit and screw as one as the hole has a lot of slop to line up with the cover threads.Again great wheel and feels awesome when driving.

The Steering Wheel is of high quality. This looks amazing in my 2002 Corvette. When I brought to the dealer to assemble they were impressed with the quality of workmanship as was I. It has really changed the driving experience and the esthetics of the Interior.

Great wheel, feels wonderful, and dramatically modernizes the interior. However, as you’ll see if you watch any of the youtube videos, the key-way is off center so the wheel does not sit straight. You will need an alignment after installation. Also, to save you sanity, make sure to get the correct two foot wheel puller in advance.
