I’m using this in my house strapped to a racing cockpit chair. It works amazingly well for this. I have it attached to a 16.2 volt 13 amp power supply and it handles the extra voltage just fine. This use case is probably in the minority, I have the cross over set to 80Hz in my amp and on the Pyle subwoofer. I maxed out the gain and the bass boost. The remote is perfect as I turn it way down to watch movies and up for racing. a little over 1 for movies and around 4 for racing. I attached longer screws to the mounting holes in the bottom to use bungie straps, the included ones would probably work. The bass you feel is amazing and plenty still comes through audibly as well. If you don’t have it in direct contact with the chair bottom you won’t really feel anything. I tried it this way first and just had it sitting under the chair.

Great little system for the money. Hook up is easy and self-explanatory for the most part. I had 4 ga. wire already so I had to trim the wire down to accommodate, but it works great and sounds pretty darn good for the price. Would highly recommend if you’re tired of being a “Treble Rebel” and looking for just enough base to give you some contrast.Ps. The 4 stars under bass quality and sound quality might not be fair. There are some control knobs on the back of the AMP that may need some fine tuning, but as of right now my complaint, if you can call it that, would be that at certain volumes it doesn’t seem to acclimate to the volume and you get more bass than treble. Not a big deal, just something I need to play with.

So I installed it immediately after getting it and tested it out once it was done. For the most part I thought for the size of it not too bad. It had some good sound to it for the size. The next day that morning it was working. After work I realized it’s not working. Then halfway home it started working. After that it stopped working all together. It’s getting power to it and the fuse is good. I found a few reviews from other about some kind of power saving mode but after a week of trying it out with no luck I returned it. I might have gotten a bad device but I have seen other that had some of the same issues of going on and off. Who knows but buyers beware.

This thing sounds amazing. I put it dead center of my back seats, 2011 GMC Duramax. I changed my head unit and door speakers and needed that little bump. Well this little 8 inch speaker is trying to act like it’s atleast a ten incher.I’m totally blown away by it. For 100 bucks or whatever you can’t beat it. We’ll see how long it lasts I know Pyle is a good brand, the speaker itself doesn’t have the Pyle logo or anything for that matter on it like most do so I was wondering about that but regardless I totally recommend it. Took my wife to dinner she said “oh no we aren’t gangster in here” I turned it up louder told her I was she’s not and couldn’t hear anything else she said…. like I said it works great.

This isn’t a thump thump system. But if your stock radio doesn’t have what it takes this makes it sound like it ought to.Easy to install- really just 2 wires. 1 power & 1 trigger from a nearby speaker (& a ground so 3 wires).Sound is good & clean. Heavy & well built.

Had it installed on 05/10/2025 along with a new kenwood media player. The guy at the shop was like it’s not that powerful, yet I notice the difference immediately. If your not looking to go deaf buy this sub.

I replaced my factory speakers in my Jeep Liberty with Kenwood speakers. They did not have near the bass of the factory ones. I purchased this to fill in the bass that was lost. It does the job very well. Mounted it in the location where the factory sub (if equipped, mine wasn’t) would be located. Fit perfectly. Was too large to fit under my seats. The driver and passenger seats would not cover it and it would be out in the foot wells. I wanted to put it under the back seat but there was no room. I have adjusted it to a level that really thumps. Very nice. Definitely not a 12″ sub so don’t expect that level of bass, but if you need a nice thump to even out your speakers this will fit the bill.

Instructions say to use 8 gauge wire minimum but I Used 10 gauge wire to battery and ground works great but have over heating problems wires are a little warm but amp gets hot and speaker stops working blue light goes off and red light comes on. But after 3 minutes it comes back on again. Only does that if I am got it turned way up for a half hour or more. Have a speaker that went out on drivers door from bad channel on original stereo for my gmc Sonoma pickup(s10)I tied into speaker on passenger side door for this amp/speaker. Does vibrate my mirrors a little when turned all the way up barly notice the speaker out on drivers door any more have 2 more speakers in top of dash too. Hardest part was installing power wire all the way to battery. Ground needs to be as short as possible got it bolted to jack hold down under the amp under the cover directly below it. Used Blue wire (16 gauge) hooked up to a fuse in fuse box for the stereo that comes on when ignition is turned on was too hard to get at back of stereo unit to hook up directly. hooked up the bass control knob makes huge difference some songs need way less bass some more bass helped my over heating problem a little too being able to turn that down from some of the time. Have all 3 adjustments at about 2/3 of the way up. If you have a stock stereo than this thing is a huge upgrade.. Not sure if its overheating because of the smaller power wire or if it just don”t like to be at full volume for extended amounts of time??
