Kicker 46HS10 Hideaway Compact Powered Subwoofer, 10-Inch The Hideaway HS10 is a compact powered 10-inch subwoofer that delivers surprising low frequency impact in a tough, all-aluminum frame. FIT PLUS – KICKER innovates once again, with FIT+ (Fail-safe Integration Technology PLUS). Accepting input signals ranging from a mere 0.25 volt to as high as 40 volts (400 watts at 4Ω) and fully compatible with newer vehicles using start/stop systems, the HS10 works with almost any vehicle on the road today without the added expense of a line output converter.
Installation Made Simple
No cutting, drilling, or angry swearing required. The Hideaway’s plug-and-play harness and compact footprint make it the easiest way to add real low-end to any ride. Whether it’s under a Civic seat or behind an F-150 panel, installation is quick and frustration-free.
ROCKIN’ REMOTE – The included remote control allows you to change the amount of bass without changing the radio volume, for the perfect mixture of bass in your music at any volume.
Performance That Packs a Punch
Despite its tiny footprint, the 46HS10 delivers bass that feels alive. It’s tight, responsive, and tuned for realism — not just rumble. From EDM drops to acoustic hits, every note hits exactly as intended. It’s the sweet spot between stealth and strength.
FULLY LOADED – The Hideaway comes with an adjustable low-pass crossover, variable +6dB bass boost, phase switch, and two auto turn-on options: DC-offset or signal sensing. FANTASTIC FIT – A mere two millimeters taller than its little brother the HS8, the HS10 delivers more power and a bigger impact in an all-aluminum frame.
Why You’ll Love It
Because KICKER didn’t just build a small subwoofer — they built a small subwoofer that kicks. Perfect for daily drivers, leased vehicles, or anyone who wants great sound without losing space or warranty sanity.
EASY INSTALL – The quick-connect Molex plug and harness includes power, signal and remote turn-on. It also features high- and low-level inputs for integration with nearly any factory or aftermarket head unit, plus two automatic turn-on options for incredibly easy activation.

I have been thinking of the best way to describe this product, but I think everyone else has pretty much said it. It fills in the missing bass for the factory system. It’s that simple. It creates the balanced system that should come standard. It would also be dependent on install location and the type of vehicle. If you put it under the drivers seat, it will be more prevalent than if you install it in the trunk. I did a ton of research on this before buying and I am satisfied with the purchase. That being said, I installed it in a 2024 Telluride with the Harmon Kardon system. Had no low end so this was desperately needed. I installed in the hidden trunk compartment in the floor. I can still use most of that compartment for storage. It was a simple install that took about 3 hours. I ran the high inputs from the existing sub thinking that system already had that signal filtered for lows only. I was correct. All I had to do was remove a few of the plastic pieces in the truck well and a screw to pop the rear of the side panel out. That’s all you need to do to access the sub wiring. It’s a dual voice coil so there are 2 channels. Tapped into that wire at the connector by inserting 4 small blade connectors in the back side of the harness. You can cut the wires, but I wanted to be able to return everything to factory if needed. After that, I grounded the amp to the inside well where the jack goes as there is already a hole there designed to ground the tow package. Then ran the power, remote, and volume control to the front. It was pretty simple and I didn’t have to remove any trim. The wires are small an can be pushed up under fairly easily. There was one screw for the large side piece trim under the 3rd row. I used a stubby screwdriver to get it so I didn’t have to take out the seats. Attached the remote wire to the ACC fuse with a fuse tap and attached the power wire to the battery. Put the volume control under the steering wheel. Easy peasy lemon squeezy!I have the gain at 3/4, the bass boost about the same, and the crossover at 70hz. The volume knob is at 50% so on those songs where I want more, I have it. Keep in mind that the signal is lower power than if I had tapped into the front speakers. I get zero distortion at any level and it sounds good. I can certainly tell a big difference even with the car loaded with suff. It doesn’t rattle the mirror or any other interior trinkets, but the kick drum is there and creates a complete sound stage.Sound preference is subjective and I find that the more music I listen to the more I tweak everything. I like it and would recommend the product even at the price. Kicker makes good stuff IMO. As SO MANY OTHERS have said, look elsewhere if you want the window rattling thump, but you are in the right place if you want a factory setup to feel complete. Works great in the Telluride!

Upgraded from a Kenwood 8″ compact subwoofer to this Kicker 10″ model, due to the 8″ clipping at moderate volume. There is a lot more to work with at 10″ for sure. Install went great, don’t forget a KISL wiring accessory to be able to use RCA (low-input) connectors. Fits great under my drivers seat, cabling is well designed (use black heat shrink for your splices). Comes with a 15 amp fuse for the battery terminal, and has a built in 15 amp fuse at the amplifier, really solid design.I’ve installed a lot of subwoofers over the years, and holy moly did this one take some work to dial-in. Gain is set at 0 out of the box, and by zero, I don’t mean 0dB gain…. I mean 0% volume. Hz range is from 50-120, only at 100Hz was this sub able to cover the full range of EDM I listen to, everything from hardstyle to happy hardcore. Great sub, plenty of power, and the volume knob is flawless.Expensive at nearly $300, but you get what you pay for, it sounds absolutely amazing. I don’t need brain rattling, mirror-cracking bass, just some quality sound when paired with JL Audio 6.5″ coaxial speakers, fills in the low-end very well. Very happy with my purchase, hopefully you will be do — just remember to test, test, test those adjustment dials.

Installed this in my 2021 Silverado 1500 under the rear left seat. I had a Kicker 10″ sub in a downfiring box along with a separate amp but I didn’t like the amount if space it took up so I chose this for the size and simplicity. It had enough power cable to reach all the way along the passenger side through the floor channel and into the engine bay with at least a foot of wire to spare. Ground cable was plenty long to ground under the rear seat. I did run a new turn-on wire from the fuse panel. I tapped into the front speaker wires under the steering wheel and ran speaker wire through the channel on the driver side back to the sub.Not gonna lie I was not impressed at first even after playing with the crossover and gain to where I knew it would be optimal. I drove around running some errands that evening wondering if I made the right choice because I just wasn’t getting the sound I wanted. It was more of a cheap, dull thud.Let this thing break in! After about 2 solid hours of driving around this thing finally started hitting. It is very clean and will boom. It is more than enough for my full size cab. The enclosure is rugged. Hardly takes up any room under the seat. No separate amp to take up space and no extra wires. A lot of reviews are downplaying the bass this puts out, but it’s way more than I expected. I can feel it through my whole body if I have it loud enough.Absolutely no regrets here. I got more than enough bass than was expected and it takes up so little valuable storage space. I don’t know how it would sound in a big SUV, but for a truck with a full size cab or smaller this is perfect.

Excelente
Me encantó como se escucha en mi Toyota pickup cabina sencilla. Es ideal para mi, ya que no cuento con mucho espacio y suena bastante bien. Recomendado.

Compact but not lacking in sound quality!
Installed this in a 2022 Chevrolet Colorado and fits under the rear seats very well. The sound quality is amazing, and the control knob allows for easy bass adjustments on the go when installed under your steering wheel area.

Works great
Used in my 2023 Ford Lightning. Fit right behind rear passenger seat and adds a decent amount of bass for its small compact size. Used high level inputs with factory components

Bueno
