My OE 150 A alternator was charging at excessive voltages and this was the perfect fit and specification for my 2018 gmc Savannah 3500 van. I found this to be a great replacement in every way reviews I read mentioned problems with fit and mechanical issues but my experience was great. I like that this has the 220AMP capacity and I did nothing with upsizing the wiring or fusing in that I have not installed any power hungry accessories.

I was pissed off about having to do the job twiceThe 2nd one came with plastic all busted on the back but it works so I’m gonna run it. After few hundred miles this one crapped out too. I went ahead ordered a brand new AC Delco, it been working great for months.

Just put in today seams to work great so far . If any problems will update. My original one was only a 150amp so I upgraded to this 220amp . And when doing so you will have to run a bigger gauge wire and add a updated fuse because the on that is s factory is only rated at 175 amp so I installed a aftermarket one rated at 250amp.
