I paid a little less than $200 USD for this and to be honest, I’m highly impressed. The material quality and the stitching looks great. The fitment to trim pieces is not perfect, however with this being one of the cheapest options I have no major complaints. I added a picture that has an example of this. Also, my wheel base was used and not new. This doesn’t bother me because 1: when all trim is attached the base is hidden, and 2: In order to bring cost down this is necessary. The gaps are only really noticeable when actively looking for them and they don’t effect the trim in a way that makes it loose or has it come off easily, as everything was able to snap together. The wheel itself has less of a plush feel than the factory one, I didn’t find this to be an issue but if you are looking for something with a little give/squish to it, you’ll need to choose a different option. In all areas it’s slightly thicker than the factory wheel as well, again this didn’t bother me, just something to note. As far as installation, it was super easy and I didn’t run into any issues with the threads on the base, however: DO NOT use a high power setting on any power tools if you end up using them, I didn’t make this mistake but I could tell when removing the fasteners off of the factory wheel (other than the main bolt of course) they were barely tight so I imagine you can end up hammering the threads away very quickly if you are not careful. All in all, if you are wanting to change things up on a budget this is a totally worthwhile option. Regardless of any gaps I’m thoroughly pleased and I will be keeping it on the car for the foreseeable future. Time will tell when it comes to how long the materials hold up.

The installation was simple; I had to disconnect and reconnect the wires. The leather had a nice heft to it, a bit thicker than the original. It felt more anchored in my hands. I really like the way it feels when driving; it makes the car feel sportier. The carbon itself has a nice depth and shimmer, really complementing the interior feel of my vehicle. I did not notice any defects or scratches on the carbon; it appears to be manufactured well. The replacement trim fit like a glove and sat perfectly in the assembly, giving the whole unit a clean, factory-like feel, which I am really happy about. I wanted a new wheel that would elevate the cabin without changing it too much. Overall, a good bang for your buck wheel.

Compared to the factory wheel, this is much thicker for a more even grip all around the steering wheel. It is similar to putting on a steering wheel cover and getting a thicker grip from it. I installed these similar carbon fiber look steering wheels on other cars in my garage and I haven’t met anyone who didn’t like these replacement steering wheels. Not only it looks premium, it feels and handles like a much improved version.
