Bosch HEPA Cabin Air Filters provide your vehicle with the ultimate in clean, fresh, odor-free air for you and your family. Without adding formulated chemical odor neutralizer, Bosch HEPA Cabin Air Filters provide true clean air to enhance respiratory health. Melt-blown electrostatic layer and very dense media provides greater trapping ability. An additional static cotton layer added to HEPA media provides higher capacity filtration capabilities. Structural ribs incorporated into design provide increased structural stability of the filter, ensuring it retains its shape and flow characteristics. Designed to meet High Efficiency Particulate Air (HEPA) standards based on standard ASTM D2986, Bosch Cabin Air Filters provide filtration efficiency of 99. 97% at 0. 3 microns.

HEPA Cabin Air Filters
Cabin air filters are designed to clean the air that enters a vehicle through the heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) system. Cabin air filters prevent dirt and various environmental particles from entering a vehicle and protect passengers from being exposed to these elements.
Bosch HEPA Premium Cabin Air Filters are designed and tested to meet High-Efficiency Particulate Air (HEPA) standards based on test standard ASTM D2986, and provide filtration efficiency of 99.97% at 0.3 microns*. This efficiency provides ultimate protection in trapping particulates that can enter your vehicle and results in the cleanest air possible for you and your family in your vehicle.
Bosch recommends replacing your Cabin Air filter every 12,000 miles or per your vehicle owners manual.
* Based on ISO 29463-3: 2011 at flow rate of 5.33 cm/s on part numbers: 6003C, 6026C, 6029C, 6055C, 6056C

Why Upgrade to a BOSCH HEPA Cabin Filter?
Standard cabin filters catch dust.
HEPA filters catch everything else.
A dirty or low-grade cabin filter leads to:
-
Weak airflow
-
Stale or musty interior odors
-
Increased allergens
-
Foggy windows
-
Overworked A/C blower motors
A fresh BOSCH 6037C provides:
-
Hospital-grade filtration
-
Cleaner, healthier cabin air
-
Better odor control
-
Stronger HVAC performance
-
Improved comfort for all passengers
If your Civic, RDX, or Odyssey smells like “commute plus kid snacks,” this solves it fast.

HEPA Media vs. Non-HEPA Media

HEPA Media
– Magnified at 300x
– Three Layers

What is a micron?
The average size of the openings between pieces of the filter media are represented in microns. A micron compares the size of common allergens. As a general rule, the smaller micron rating is for a filter, the better the filter is. For example, a 20-micron filter has larger openings than a 5-micron filter. Consequently, the 20-micron filter element will let larger particles pass through the filter than the 5-micron media would. Bosch HEPA Premium Cabin Air Filters provide filtration efficiency of 99.97% at 0.3 microns*.

Non-HEPA Media
– Magnified at 300x
– Two Layers

This BOSCH 6037C HEPA Cabin Air Filter is a fantastic and simple upgrade for your vehicle. It delivers exactly what it promises: cleaner, fresher air inside your car.The installation was incredibly straightforward. It was a perfect fit for my Acura RDX, and I was able to swap out the old filter in just a few minutes. You don’t need any special tools, making this an easy and quick DIY project for anyone. The difference in air quality is immediately noticeable. The HEPA filtration does a great job of trapping dust, pollen, and other allergens, leaving the cabin air feeling much cleaner. It also seems to reduce outside odors, which is a huge plus.Overall, this is a high-quality product that provides excellent value. It’s an essential and affordable way to improve the air quality in your car. I highly recommend it for any compatible Honda or Acura model.

Great. It does block air flow by a bit, but it is ok, if you don’t need strong air blowing your face at maximum setting all the time.

These fit my car and work great! They make it possible for me to drive during spring tree pollen season without a mask, and keep the dust down year round.

Right off the bat: I don’t have any airflow problems with this filter. It works great, the air is noticeably cleaner, and airflow has not been meaningfully reduced. However, it doesn’t fit my air filter holder very well. The ‘ air filter holder’ (a plastic tray that slides horizontally into the air flow system) has two plastic fringes on either side of the tray, which each have two small notches in them, a few inches apart from one another. This appears to act as a sort of ‘key’ by which you can gauge you are putting the filter in with the correct alignment. On an OEM filter, the slots line up with two strips of material that stretch across the length of the filter, which themselves rest within the slots. However, the slots don’t line up with the strips on this filter. I had to cut the fringes so that the slots in them are wider, so the strips would fit in them. Without doing this, the filter wouldn’t press down into the tray.Having done that, and the filter now rests flush in the tray, there are still marginal gaps around the perimeter of the filter. It’s a millimeter or two too small for the tray, so there is some airflow around the filter. This could be rectified by wrapping insulation tape or something around the edge of the filter, or could be ignored if you’re not super picky. I haven’t added any wrapping to get an airtight seal, and even with that gap I still noticed that the air is way better. So ultimately, it didn’t fit exactly, but it fits 90% of the way and, with some finagling, is a superior filter by any other measure.

Installation took all of 3 minutes.Noticeable improvement in air quality (less allergy response) since installation. Others mentioned a reduction in air flow but have not noticed a change.,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,Update (9/2020)Noticeable reduction in air flow. I have needed to increase the fan speed to make the cabin comfortable. I may be switching brands soon. I will pull the filter at 6 weeks and see if it is getting plugged (yikes).////////////Update (10/2020)I pulled the Bosch filter expecting it to be plugged due to the lack of air flow. I was surprised to see it was clean. There were are few small pieces of stuff in the folds of the filter but only about 10 of them. I held the filter up to the light and then tapped it on white paper to see what would fall out. There was nothing present to explain the extreme loss of air flow. I have used Bosch cabin filters in my other vehicles (not HEPA) with great success. I washoping to help the allergies of my family but having to run the fan on high to receive any airflow was more annoying than helpful. The noise was irritating and the air flow was still less than the Honda filter I removed. I purchased a new Honda cabin filter and our van is back to normal. I did not realize how much I missed the auto temperature setting. I was setting the temperature about 5 degrees below “normal” to try and keep the temperature consistent, and it was not during the hotter summer months. Unfortunately I am beyond the 30 day Amazon return window so I am not able to return the cabin air filter. :-(This is my first Amazon review that moved from 5 to 1…..

When I have my car serviced at the Acura dealership, they routinely recommend that the cabin filter be replaced. As we all know, a dealership is going to charge an arm and a leg for a basic service. Therefore, I have been replacing the cabin air filter myself for the past few years. I like BOSCH products and when I found this filter on Amazon, I knew that was the one to purchase for my 2019 Acura RDX. The filter fits perfectly in its location in the glove box. It literally takes less than five minutes to swap out the old filter for the new. I will continue to use this product while I have the RDX.

So helpful for wildfires
With this filter in place, and a small air purifier running in the car, I have been able to very quickly deal with wildfire smoke so that I can take off my mask in the car after 5 mins and not have an asthma attack. Highly recommend for anyone with lung issues. I’m probably going to get a whole bunch for this summer & for dealing with pollens in the spring.
