Why Replacing Front Struts Matters on SN95 Mustangs
Front struts do most of the work—handling braking forces, steering input, and weight transfer. When they wear out, the Mustang doesn’t just ride worse, it becomes unpredictable.
Common symptoms of worn front struts:
-
Excessive front-end bounce
-
Nose dive during braking
-
Loose or vague steering feel
-
Clunking over bumps
-
Uneven front tire wear
Replacing tired struts restores control where it matters most: the front tires.

Highly recommended. Do not buy twin tube shocks as they are not factory up front. These are mono tube and they’re stronger than twin tube. These parts fit directly for a 2000 mustang V6 coupe. No issues whatsoever. No adjustment needed nor alignment needed if done correctly. The part is held in by 3 bolts. 2 large bolts at the bottom and the strut rod up top. Do not remove the upper mount bolts on this vehicle. If you do, that will affect your alignment. Just reuse your strut bellow and bump stop or buy new ones since these don’t come with them. Zero complaints on my end. The parts are painted really well and aren’t made of junk quality steel.

Seem to work just like OEM. Time will tell, but I imagine they will last until that final drive to the junk yard. Unbeatable price!
