The air filter fits great in my 2020 Subaru Forester. I use the 6 month subscribe for this. That way it helps me to change it regularly.

Poor quality on recent purchase, filter fits but does not “latch” into place. Appears front side is warped, didn’t want to mess with return so taped into place. Have purchased filter in past but it seems quality is going down-hill.The company did stand behind their product in the end, & thats worth something

Fit perfectly. Product similar to the factory one from Subaru. After watching a couple internet videos it was simple and easy to install, should not confusing for anybody with even basic technical ability. Didn’t even take 15 minutes to do and was not a dirty job. Although it says, “Designed and Engineered in the USA”, it is actually made in China. Factory box and shipping box were flimsy so it was fortunate that the paper fins were not damaged in shipping. Overall very happy with this, I saved almost $60 over what the dealer was going to charge (parts and labor), plus I now am more knowledgable so it will be even easier next time.

Update: So I thought it fit perfectly, when I went to replace it with a new one, I found that it had popped out. Went to install the new one – it does not snap in. Quality is much worse than the first one. I ended up buying OEM, which fits perfectly of course, and returned this one. I’ll stick to OEM from now on, these cheap off-brand filters are not worth it.Fits perfectly. Snaps into place just like OEM if you install it correctly. Media looks about the same thickness / area as OEM. Air coming out of the vents has no odor from the filter. The activated carbon is mostly a gimmick, and won’t filter out much in the way of smells. I drive past an organic dirt composting company every day, and it smells the same with this filter or OEM.Activated carbon will adsorb hydrocarbons, but the miniscule amount in this filter would probably reach capacity after driving past a single out-of-compliance vehicle.I bought it simply for the fact that it will filter out larger dust particles, and for that, it does a fine job.

I was one of those unfortunates who, sitting in the dealer service waiting room, was confronted with the options to change the ac filter “while we are in there.” Having never changed a car ac filter before (but changed them in the house every 6 months like clockwork) I agreed. $100.00 dollars billed for a $50 Subaru filter and about 5 minutes to pop out the old one and slide in the new. Yes the Subaru part is $50 but if I changed filters for a living I would be in a villa in the south of France inside a year. There is no conceivable reason for this filter to be $50 from ANY SOURCE and paying as much for a 5 minute swap out…..well, that’s my bad. Buy this filter. Stock up on them and change your filter every 6 months or so and you lungs will thank you. P.S. Subaru should know better, if you ask me.
