Reads AFR & Lambda

Supports:

  • Gasoline

  • E85

  • Methanol

  • Race fuels

  • Custom lambda scaling

Why OBDII Connectivity Matters

Traditional widebands depend on analog 0–5v conversions, which:

  • Lose resolution

  • Can drift

  • Introduce noise

  • Require custom ECU inputs

OBDII output avoids all that and gives:

  • Cleaner AFR data

  • Better ECU synchronization

  • Easier datalog analysis

  • Plug-and-play tuning workflows

Perfect for tuners using:

  • Hondata

  • COBB Accessport

  • HP Tuners

  • Haltech (with OBD inputs)

  • ECUMaster

  • Megasquirt/MS3 OBD setups

What’s Included

  • AEM X-Series UEGO 52mm Gauge

  • Bosch LSU 4.9 wideband O2 sensor

  • Weld-in O2 bung

  • Full wiring harness

  • OBDII output cable

  • Black/silver bezels & faces

  • Installation hardware

Everything needed for a complete AFR/OBDII integration.

Performance Benefits

  • Highly accurate AFR under boost

  • No lag between real AFR and logged AFR

  • Ideal for street tuning, dyno work, and high-power builds

  • Perfect AFR tracking for ethanol and flex fuel

  • Engine protection via fast, clean AFR feedback

If your engine lives by accurate fuel control, this is the wideband you run.

Installation Notes

  • Weld bung at least 18” downstream from turbo outlet

  • Avoid sensor low-point mounting (condensation kills sensors)

  • Route wiring away from extreme heat

  • Connect OBDII cable to the vehicle port for AFR streaming

  • No calibration needed for Bosch LSU 4.9

Install time: 30–60 minutes, depending on O2 bung access.

Final Verdict

The AEM X-Series Wideband UEGO AFR Gauge with OBDII Connectivity is the best option for tuners who want fast, accurate AFR data directly inside their logs without wiring headaches.
Its OBDII integration, fast response, and clean 52mm display make it one of the most advanced—and most user-friendly—wideband systems you can buy.

If you take tuning seriously, this is the wideband you want in your car.

Don’t make the same mistake I did. This item is for newer vehicles with Canbus. If your vehicle is older than 2013 it probably wont work unless you cut the end off it and switch the pins around. Works well though.

Awesome device. This model is designed to provide a CAN based output that can be then logged in HPTuners. It is extremely fast and when connected via the CAN bus (OBD port) ground offsets are a thing of the past. Install could not be easier. Install sensor, connect unit to a switched power source and then plug in the provided OBD “splice” to an OBD port. Connect HPTuners to the other side of the OBD “splice”.The analog 0-5V output is also extremely fast and accurate on this model. The 0-5V output connectors are NOT pinned in this setup, though the pins can be purchased for a few pennies, so they are simple enough to add if need be.I can’t think of any reason not to buy this wideband if you are in the market for one.

I purchase this so I can tune my car with HP Tuners. This allows me to do a pass thru to the tuner and still get my gauge results. Easy to install. Works perfect.BTW, don’t go to a tuner shop to get the o2 sensor installed. I shopped all over town to get the welded in and I had price ranges from $75-$250. Went to a muffler shop and they did it for $15 in about 10 minutes.

Absolute junk with terrible customer service from AEM. Was installed on my vehicle and kept in my garage. Has about 3k miles on it MAX. The gauge failed on the top of the second digit and AEM won’t do anything to help me out since I’m a few months past the warrant period. Wont even sell me just the gauge, I have to buy the WHOLE KIT AGAIN. Terrible product with terrible customer service from AEM. The fact that they can’t even sell me just the gauge is ridiculous.

The actual gauge worked great! I used it and when I hooked my hp tuners datalink mpvi2 to it it burned the Gauge up, I thought it was something with the way I had it hooked up because I didn’t have it on a fuse so I ordered a second one and wired it right with the fuse and everything and when I went to tap into it again it didn’t come one and started smoking. Pulled them both apart and it burned the same exact pin on both on the circuit board. If you have the can bus in your ecm it’s a perfect gauge, but if you have an older ecm and have to have the datalink it won’t work I’ll look into a different one I guess idk.
