If you’ve got the V6? Wrong intake.
AEM Cold Air Intake Systems are designed to produce horsepower and torque gains. They replace the restrictive factory airbox and air filter to give you better
performance and better engine sound. AEM cold air intakes relocate the air filter outside the engine compartment so cooler air can be fed into your engine.
Why Upgrade Your Altima with the AEM 21-698C?
Because the QR25DE is a willing engine being smothered by a painfully restrictive OEM airbox.
The 21-698C delivers:
-
Stronger airflow thanks to mandrel-bent aluminum tubing
-
Better throttle response across the rev range
-
A deeper, more aggressive intake note
-
AEM Dryflow oil-free filter (safe for the MAF, easy to clean)
-
Cold-air placement in the fender well for cooler, denser air
-
Improved mid-range pull—where the QR25 actually lives
A simple bolt-on that makes the Altima feel noticeably more responsive.
Cooler air carries more oxygen, which translates into a more intense explosion in the combustion chamber for more horsepower and torque. AEM Cold Air Intakes include an oversized AEM Dryflow synthetic washable air filter for outstanding air flow, filtration, and performance while allowing easy oil-free cleaning.

A little difficult to install. Not much for throttle sound.Notice about 5 to 7 horse power difference. Not a bad investment for performance. Worth getting

Bought this so it would finish off the last GST basemap. Installation took longer than expected due to the fact that some lines did not reach where I wanted them to. I highly suggest that you follow the instructions! This is not an option: You must get a tune with this or you will run lean!

works great i like that i do not have to have the hydro shield on it . I also liked that it still keeps it looking stock

One thing to be noted about this intake, is that the diameter of the inlet tube is smaller than it is stock. Ran lean after installing, along with a CEL. Still lean even after a tune. Have had multiple experts look at my car and not be able to tell me why. I’ll post a follow up

Bought this for my 2010 Ralliart, instructions pretty hard all black and white . Took about 5 hours to install with 2 people. You definitely need a tune if you are buying this. Took it out for one pull after putting the intake on and it’s sounds bad the transmission shaking my car and a check engine light came on 🙁
