What Coilovers Change on the SN95 Chassis
This coilover kit combines the spring and shock into one adjustable unit, giving you control over ride height while improving suspension response.
Benefits you’ll actually notice:
-
Lower center of gravity
-
Reduced body roll
-
Better braking stability
-
Improved steering response
In other words: the Mustang stops floating through corners and starts feeling planted.
Why Choosing Twin-tube Coilovers:
1.It is easier to secure sufficient stroke, because the oil and gas chambers are separated and not positioned serially.
2. The use of base valve enables to keep gas pressure low, allowing for a more comfortable ride.
3. Low gas pressure avoids stress on seals and keeps friction low.
4. Compared to the inverted type, friction can be suppressed.
5. Even if the shell case is slightly damaged, the function of the shock absorber remains unaffected.
6. Superior manufacturing processes allow to keep production costs low.
Lowering Your Mustang: Smart Numbers Matter
This kit supports adjustable lowering, typically in the 1.0–2.0 inch range, depending on setup.
Recommended drops:
-
1.0–1.5 inches: Ideal for daily driving and spirited street use
-
1.5–2.0 inches: Aggressive street stance (alignment becomes critical)
Lower than that and you’ll invite:
-
Reduced suspension travel
-
Increased bump steer
-
Bottoming out on real roads
Lowering works when geometry still works. This kit keeps things functional—not just low-for-photos.
Package Includes:
– Complete coilovers for 2 front and 2 rear
– A pair of wrenches for height adjustment
NOTE: Professional installation is highly recommended.
Alignment After Lowering (Non-Negotiable)
Lowering an SN95 or New Edge Mustang will change alignment geometry. Skip this step and your tires will suffer.
What changes:
-
Increased negative camber up front
-
Toe moves out of spec (tire killer #1)
-
Steering return affected if caster isn’t corrected
Strongly recommended:
-
Professional alignment after install
-
Caster/camber plates if lowering beyond ~1.25”
-
Keep toe close to factory specs for street driving
Good alignment = better grip, longer tire life, and a Mustang that tracks straight instead of wandering.
Handling Improvements You’ll Feel Immediately
Once installed and aligned, expect:
-
Sharper turn-in
-
Reduced nose dive under braking
-
Less body roll in corners
-
More confidence during spirited driving
It won’t turn your Mustang into a race car—but it will feel tighter, newer, and far more composed than stock.
Build Quality & Ownership Notes
-
Front and rear complete coilover assemblies
-
Threaded bodies for height adjustment
-
Direct bolt-on replacement for factory struts
-
Best results when paired with fresh sway bar end links and bushings
Install tip: Use anti-seize on the threads. Adjustable suspension that won’t adjust later is just decorative.

i had this product a little over a month and at first it was decent. but as i was driving to work and the mount on the coil over just snapped at the welds and my car slid across the ground and it messed up my brand new rims. in very disappointed and luckily it didn’t break on a freeway or a faster road. this could have totaled my car or caused a accident and hurt someone else, me, property, and the car. i would highly recommend not buying this product.
