Why a Complete Fuel Pump Module Is the Correct Repair
Dakota fuel systems rely on consistent fuel pressure (PSI) and proper communication between the pump and sending unit. Replacing only the pump motor while leaving worn internal components behind is how fuel problems come back—usually worse.
This A-Premium fuel pump module includes:
-
High-pressure electric fuel pump
-
Fuel level sending unit
-
Pre-filter strainer (sock)
-
Internal pressure regulation components
-
OE-style housing and electrical connectors
One installation. One fix. No repeat failures.

Been parked for over a year due to a bad pump and on autoparts are not cheap..decided to give this one a try and behold…truck is alive again…pretty good quality at 1/4 of the price. Well build and fit perfectly on the tank.

Do not buy this budget part. It will not last and will leave you stranded. Says it’s premium. It’s premium alright. Premium garbage. It lasted 3 weeks and shorted out my ECU. I could not even use a scan tool to troubleshoot as the PCM was dead until I pulled the fuel pump relay. Upon checking the ohms on the fuel pump I got a reading of 300 ohms. I pulled the fuel line off the fuel rail and used a shunt relay to activate the fuel pump. Not one drop. What really burns me is how this “budget” part almost fried my PCM.You really take your chances buying these non OEM parts. Feeling lucky?Update: 80 miles from home on a government installation is where this left me. No one should have to go through the hell that became my life and the money I had to spend because of this junk. If you can’t make it right don’t make it at all. 🤬

Having a tech find out what was wrong with my emission codes keep coming back, I got it down to the fuel pump leaking. Purchased this one at a good price. The hardest part, because of the location, was getting the tank down. It was easy to install and works great so far, can’t complain !

Replaced my oem fuel pump and it’s been 3 months so far so good.Update: The pump eventually went out after a little over 4 months and I had to have it replaced so if I would just suggest getting a much higher quality one because this one won’t last as long and the more pricey ones.
