Filter has to be able to fold up the pleats to get into filter box. A terrible tight spot that Ford put it in behind console. This filter has rigid edges making it impossible to fold up. I had to cut 2 side edges off to be able to fold it and it still was problem getting it in the holder. I can’t be sure the filter is even in there correctly, no way to see it! Filter even seems to be a bit too large to fit.

My airflow is like new again. There was so little air coming from the vents I thought something had broken in the ductwork. Changed the filter and all is good!

Installed this on my 2011 Ford Fiesta SEL. I do this yearly.It is a sucky job as it is in such a tight space. Used to do it my taking EVERYTHING apart from the glove box to everything behind it. Took way too long. Now just snake myself under the passenger side leg area and use the appropriate tools to remove the paneling and then the 4 screws, pull out the old one, and push in the new one. Pushing in the new one is not easy, gotta get a little rough to slide it in.

Pain in the behind
Just changed my cabin air filter on my 2011 fiesta, what a pain that was. Build quality of the product seems solid, but could be more flexible to get it where it needs to be.
