What Rearward Lower Control Arms Do
On the Nissan 350Z and Infiniti G35, the rearward lower control arms:
-
Control front suspension geometry
-
Maintain proper caster angle
-
Stabilize steering feel
-
Absorb road shock through bushings
When bushings crack or ball joints wear out, you’ll feel:
-
Clunking over bumps
-
Loose or vague steering
-
Uneven tire wear
-
Front-end instability under braking
Not ideal in a RWD sports car.

They get the job done with no hassle. While you’re in there replacing this arm, just do all of them and call it a day…
