The item is not calibrated for proper 350z window functionality. There is no reset button to set it yourself. Everytime you open the door the window goes down 3 inches regardless of position. To close it i have to open my door, roll window up all the way, turn my car off, get out, slowly close my door while bending my window underneath my body panel so it doesnt crack, and then knee the door closed to properly seal the door. Door should roll down 1/4 of an inch upon opening, and then roll back up 1/4 of an inch after the handle is latched in order to make sure the glass does not hit the body. DO NOT BUY THIS GARBAGE SO FRUSTRATING SPEND THE $400 ON OEM

Works great, and a little faster than my other windw. I now have to try to set, if possible, the automatic drop down,up (quarter inch or so) for when you open and close the door.

Went to install this regulator and motor, after install had issues getting it to roll the window up then fixed that and the very next day went to the store whole window dropped about a inch and would not go up. Put the original regulator in and no problems. Only reason I wanted to replace was my original is scraping the window and tint causing an indentation.Seems to me the motor is super weak and the cable is not the right length as I play with the window you can see it has loads of slack in the track. I shouldn’t be able to move the window brackets even a little or something is not right with it in the first place.

just save yourself the headache and go with oem, this one is way to fast, there’s no way to reset the window motor, and it stopped working after 3 weeks (keep in mind i drove it twice)
D’s Cuts –
Does not have the right motor for a 350z because there’s no reset button. When you open your car door it’s supposed to open a little then when you shut it, it’s supposed to roll up a little. Without that reset button it doesn’t work. Also when you shut the door while car is off with windows down, it will roll up slightly every time you open and shut the door.

Easy install (window dropping resolution)
Very solid , can’t go wrong with the price at all. For those struggling with the dropping window issue after opening door. Press and hold the window all the way to the top while the door is closed and hold for 10-15 seconds. This worked for me and reset the window.
