That system is the one that started it all (HHC5002). The Sport Compact Market was primarily based on popular Japanese small cars that were great cars to begin with, but also excellent platforms for various tuning modifications. Throughout the 1990s, DC Sports was synonymous with Honda and Acura performance and in the early 2000’s started expanding into other sport compact platforms. DC Sports developed unique designs that performed better and therefore became the brand of choice for serious enthusiasts. DC Sports offers products for most popular sport compact vehicles.
Our headers and intakes are available as CARB approved-50 states legal or race only- off road use versions. Headers are manufactured with polished T304SS stainless and/or T409SS ceramic coated for protection and finish. Intake kits come with a high flow open element filter complete with all necessary hardware for a hassle-free installation. Braces are manufactured with mild steel for strength and powder-coated for a quality durable finish and solid one-piece designs are used whenever possible to provide the maximum chassis rigidity.

Really good intake for the price. The install took about 40 minutes with proper tools. I used a clip remover, a ratchet with a 10mm socket, and some really long nose pliers to get the hose off the back of the engine. It fit really well on my 04’ g35 coupe. Sounds really good and pretty loud.

It’s nice. No crazy power gain just adds that satisfying air sucking sound to your Z or G for cheap. The K&n filter can be upgraded to a higher flow filter for the biggest SUCC but it’s good enough for stock and if you combined it with big throttle body, freer flowing exhaust, and big injectors/fuel pump you will see and hear the performance it provides. Little things here and there add up and it’s better than the nasty stock air box.

The intake looks great and is very sturdy, induction noises that can be finally heard. No noticeable power gain but better throttle response. Install was a breeze took me less than 30min to finish everything. You get bang for your buck for this intake.

Overall was easy to install. Comes with everything you need. Very good for the price. Only thing that would make this better is if it came with its own heat shield. Gave it 4 star because there definitely some room for improvement.

Probably no noticeable performance improvement. The intake sound has improved as there is no resonator and airbox with the restrictive cheap filter. It is slightly louder from under the hood. The price is great but the mount for the mass air flow sensor was reversed. This may have been the only one made backwards but it cost me to have a machinist fix it. I didn’t want to wait to return it for a replacement.
