Installed in the day it came in. Awesome for the price and looks great. I will say hardest part was installing the seal on it since it was super tight to fit. Just used a heat gun to warm up the rubber a little and it went right in. Going to buy this for my wife’s evo as well.

Fit’s perfect on my 4g63 Lancer Evolution 8. I however did not use the seal surround that you are supposed to install. This allows the cover to vent out which is nice. Fits perfect, zero modifications for install. Great price!!!

Ordered one of these because my OEM cover was a little beat. Did a timing job and reassembled using this cover. Well, tried to anyway. Seems well made but the dimensions are incorrect which leaves a huge gap near the front by the dipstick tube and prevents the bolt from attaching. Now, I could have cut it down and made it work but that was way too much effort at the time. Threw in the trash and reused my original cover.

I love the product for the convenience of being able to check timing and monitoring my belt. the only draw back is you have to trim for the upper lip for the valve cover to fit perfectly. But since I’m pretty skilled at fabricating nothing into something this was simple. I believe this nifty add on is a must have. You might be asking why I didn’t put a flashy gear well I was going to but the ones on Amazon are trash the radius is toooo small and the timing advancement adjustments are no good. The stock gear is just fine.

I personally bought this clear cam cover but didn’t know it didn’t fit the 2jz on the Lexus is300 and I issued a return on Amazon and they contacted me about how I put I bought the wrong product and they tried helping me by swapping it out with the right cam cover but unfortunately they didn’t have it. Outstanding customer service highly recommend this seller also the product I received was good quality unfortunately I couldn’t use it.
