🔧 Why This maXpeedingrods Kit Converts Buyers
This kit is built around simplicity and reliability, not endless knobs.

-
Height-adjustable coilover suspension
-
Preset damping (no guessing, no re-tuning)
-
Matched spring rates for SN95/New Edge chassis
-
Gold anodized threaded bodies
-
Complete front & rear replacement assemblies
-
Direct bolt-on installation
👉 Translation: install it, align it, drive it—no suspension PhD required.
📉 Lowering Your Mustang (Without Breaking It)
The SN95/New Edge platform responds best to a moderate drop.
Recommended ride heights:
-
1.0–1.5 inches: Ideal daily stance and drivability
-
1.5–2.0 inches: Aggressive street look (alignment required)
Go lower and you’ll introduce:
-
Reduced suspension travel
-
Bump steer
-
Harsh bottoming on real roads
This kit allows lowering without sacrificing basic ride quality, which is why it works well for daily-driven cars.
🛣️ Ride Quality: Preset and Street-Friendly
Preset damping means the suspension is already tuned for street use.
Compared to worn factory suspension:
-
Firmer, more controlled ride
-
Less bouncing over bumps
-
Reduced body roll
-
Better highway stability
Compared to adjustable race coilovers:
-
Less harshness
-
No constant re-adjusting
-
More predictable daily comfort
It’s firm enough to feel sporty, soft enough to live with. Exactly the balance most SN95 owners want.

great product ….. works well, may need minor adjustments made on ride height but function and look great ……. be careful tho with back spacing ….. I had to order a set of hub spacers to keep my tires from rubbing the coilovers

So, I bought these and they sat in the garage for a while, eventually I convinced a friend to help me install them. He went through the instructions with me and we read the comments here and made sure not to do anything wrong. We set all the settings to what people suggest and got everything nice and dialed in and.., I swear on my life, this made the car almost undrivable in Kansas City. Every single little pot hole or crack in the road, railway crossings, overpass seams, everything, feels like you’re spine is being shattered. It’s almost as bad as if I just took a steel rod and welded it directly to my suspension. The suggested spring rates for a new edge mustang is around 280 front and 160 rear, but for some unknown reason, these are 448 in front and 392 in the rear. This is entirely overkill and makes it so that you can’t actually compress the springs with normal driving on rough roads, making it so that they never compress and feel like solid rods.I have been driving it very rarely for the past month after doing this and am planning to go back to oem as soon as possible. These coil overs have just genuinely made me hate driving the car and that’s a horrible feeling… Please, if you’re looking for something to make your car better, look somewhere else. These claim to increase handling and performance without compromising comfort, but if you want to have good handling and performance, go get some actual quality coil overs. If you want a comfortable ride, stick with OEM, and if you want a comfortable ride and lower car, get lowering springs. But this product fails in everything other than a very minor drop and a stiff (spine-shakingly stiff) ride.Avoid at all costs.

Everything in this kit is adjustable. If people are having issues with the rears I will 100% agree, they will not fit rear control arms without a canted spring boot. They are GREAT for drag use and are ok enough to drive on the street. You can adjust how much dampening the kit has and it REALLY works both front and rear. Mine sits 1.5 inches lower than factory and feels just a bit firmer than stock but where you will really notice it is in the handling of the car through corners. It will help stop and prevent the car from that rolling feeling through corners. Also helps correct bump steer. Try them out just make sure you grease everything often and it will last just as long as any other shock/strut.

Not a great kit. Spend the money don’t buy this if it’s a everyday driver.

Definitely fit. I was doing research on the site and they actually have 24 levels of ride dampening. They come factory set on 24. So you definitely need to adjust these but overall great.

Mustang Coilovers
Front coilovers ok. Rear. OMG. Nothing sits correctly on the control arm. Was afraid the spring would slide off the adjustor everytime I would hit a little bump.Put factory springs back in for now.Don’t buy the rear coilovers.
