These arrived extremely fast and the installation was easier than expected after watching a couple youtube videos. A little background the car I installed these on is a 2004 Mazda 3i with about 170k miles, and when I pressed down firmly on the left and right front of the car it would bounce about 3-4 times before stopping (bad sign). After installing both front sides the car comes back to neutral immediately after pushing down without bouncing, Even though the car is near the end of its life, this was absolutely worth the cost and the labor. As long as you have (or can borrow) a breaker bar, sockets, and a little muscle this is doable for most people.I had help from one other person and although it took some work to get the steering knuckle off the old shock/strut and on the new one, we were able to install this and the other side quick-strut assembly in about 2-3 hours. My car now drives significantly better, much smoother and quieter now that my shocks/struts are actually absorbing the impact. On a side note, the car seems to sit a little higher now after installing these but I think that’s because it was sagging from the wear on the old shock/struts but I actually prefer the way it feels now.

Worked well for 2012 Mazda 3 (front driver/left side). Ride quality seems to have improved. I don’t think it feels overly firm, does a solid job on potholes and bumpy roads. If you buy both, there is an “L” or “R” where the sway bar link goes in

Great price. Compared to Auto parts store. My Mazda 3 ride was getting a bit choppy! Much to be expected after150.000 miles. Replace with two Monroe fronts and A-Premium rears. They work great together. Monroe rears had bad reviews. So that’s why I didn’t pair up. what a noticeable difference. Well worth every penny. Also got a front end alignment and a ball joint replacement. Drives straight down the road. And way smother. Looking forward to a long road trip.

Installed 8 years ago and driven on it for that same amount of time. Took care of the rattle due to old worn struts but that’s the only positive I can say about these stut assembly. It too tall for the car, which never settled down to OEM height.. Excessive front body roll during turns, to the point that I don’t drive my trusted steed like I used to due to the body roll. I wish I kept my original struts and springs. Now I’m looking to buy original used springs/strut assembly for 17 inch wheels which my Mazda came with, so I can replace these Monroe’s.In a nutshell, I won’t buy these if I knew what I know now. I’ve attached pictures of my mazda so you can see the height difference between rear and front tire from the fenders.

I purchased two of these strut assemblies for my 2008 Mazda 3 (front – right and left – purchased separately). They are just as advertised. They were easy to install and fit right in with no hassle at all. However – NOTE – the center nut on the top of the spring assembly wasn’t all the way tight, so after a hundred miles or so I heard a noise. Took a bit, but I found out that that nut was loose. I tightened it and all is well. I have about 1000 miles on these struts and they’re good so far. I’d get these again – but I’d check that nut sooner!

I should’ve replaced my 2008 Mazda3 struts a year ago.So this helped ease the strain on my wheels which I was denting and banging out constantly with potholes. The ride is smooth and cornering ability wasn’t sacrificed. The ride in the original shocks (10 years old) were a bit rough/sporty which is why I dealt with them for so long. The monroe shocks are smooth as silk compared to them. But not too mushy/sloppy. A+ and saved hundreds replacing them with a friend versus having a shop do them
