Have a 2025 Kia K4 LXS and needed to change my oil. This filter was not available locally.This was my first oil change with this style of filter and did not know what tools were needed.So STOP do not work on the oil change unless you have the following tools. 17mm socket for oil drain, 8mm hex wrench for oil filter housing drain screw, and a 27mm socket (short or deep well) for removing the filter housing. Needle nose pliers not required but suggested.One big piece of advice when reinstalling the new filter housing o-ring make sure the removal tab on the o-ring faces up and not down into the groove or this could cause a seal failure and allow the housing to leak.The only issue I had with this kit is that the filter housing drain plug is of a softer material than the original and if you are not careful you will strip out the 8mm hex opening when tightening down the new filter drain plug so took one star off.Filter kit contains
