If you change oil and filters regularly there is no real need for a filter advertised as good for 20K. However, the price is definitely reasonable, and the apparent quality is good. I liked the rubberized bottom as it allowed a firm grip on the filter without any slippage.

The Ultra Synthetic is the best filter I’ve used. I use it on both of my Jeeps, my old truck and my newer F150 Coyote 5.0. I live in the deep south where it gets scorching hot hitting 100 or above the summer for 4 months it gets down to 0 or lower a few times each winter. I’ve tried other brands but always come back to the Fram Ultra. Admittedly, I wouldn’t use the basic filter or the XG because they’re as good as the other brands but the Ultra is better than the other brands
