This alternator did fit my 2015 odyssey perfectly. I won’t make you read the whole review before telling you the quality of this item is terrible. And if you are looking for something to last you more than a few months don’t by this. It can quietly and perfectly for 2 days, then started making a constant mechanical “were” ing sound that got louder while accelerating, and also began ticking loudly about a week after install.My Van ran well (excluding the new noises) for about 6 months. Then I started to notice the little signs, things that you only notice when you are very in tune with your vehicle. It took just a second longer to crank when I’d push the button. The lights in the van dimmed if you were using your bright headlights. So I knew what was coming. Then at the year mark (almost exactly) noticeable differences – lights severely dimming when any other battery using device in the vehicle was turned on. Took obvious effort to crank. And then the battery light started to come on randomly and go back off. And today, battery light on constantly, and no “were” or ticking. So I know it’s dead.I guess I’ll be ordering a much more expensive alternator today. Which is very frustrating, not just because of wasted money, but I installed it myself and it took several hours and a solid amount of effort.So yeah.. don’t buy this.

Replacing an alternator in an odyssey is a 4 1/2 hour ordeal as it requires lots of wriggling and brute force to get old one out. This slipped in quite easily and may have been 1/16 in slightly smaller which is a good thing. Only annoyance being the positive post is M6 rather than the OEM M8 and no nut or washers provided to enable the larger hole positive strap to make good electrical contact. Alternator did not come with an m6 copper nut for m6 post. Using random steel m6 nut works for a month or two until the alternator stops charging the battery. Fix is cleaning up terminals and using a copper m6 nut and washers. As this was $100 and the copper nut and washer less than $10 it’s a few hundred less than an OEM or other top brand one. Honda charges over $500 for this part and all in with installation$1500 plus tax. It is a several hour job to get in and out and although not difficult just bloody fidly. Find a child to do it for you and pay them $200 and let them use you tube vids to learn how to do it and save $1000
