Replaced the faulty alternator on my 2006 Rav4. Not an easy job or for a beginner. It’s been a month now, engine running perfect. I suggest installing a new belt also while your in there. Remove the upper motor mount, makes it a lot easier.

Typical Toyota, to many bolts to be removed and jacked up engine to hold the engine while removing top motor mount but that’s not related to this alternator. It was a perfect fit and working fine with daily use, 4 months later
